So I've decided you guys have already put a lot of effort in this so the price for the winner will definately happen! I was going to ask if you guys have any requests for prize? I am thinking something within the prize range of some 20-40€. You can of course also get money but that would be kinda boring.

Other ideas for prize is of course non money based. e.g. winner gets an erotic elma painting handmade by me or something... I really like this idea because it will be super personal and awesome to have :D I see a big painting of some kuski battlefield (drivers and their bikes, apples etc.) where the winner of the Trek Tracks competition is riding over many competitors dead bodies with lotsa blood with a flag in his hand or something!

suggestions?

Also to gief a little motivation I will release another bounty lev soon with the additional prize of personal tribute in the final movie. adi already won one bounty.

MAKE. THIS. HAPPEN.
sidenote: I never saw "erotic" and "elma" in one sentence and it was deffinitely worth the wait.

btw if that was a joke, it was a pretty good one.

Money would be a good prize.
I won money in PFE contest by Juish, but it was not very much so I gave it to EOL server.

But 40€ I could manage to myself =)

Of course money is always good, but that is kinda boring. Some kind of painting or other artwork would be really cool because it's that lasts more than a week. I would easily put the painting on my wall :p

I also like the idea of painting best :) would include all players who participated in the painting, and only the winner will be alive or something like that.

Other option if you all want money is this: if WRTT is u34 winner gets 40€ and if only u35 then only 30€

This is maybe a wrong place to discuss this further, but yeah this is an interesting topic. Why would you be ashamed to show elma related things to other people? After all the years you've spent playing this game and being in the community? I don't think there's anything wrong with elma, I don't event think it's that much just a children's game. You know competitive it is. I think I'm going to finally make an elma related t-shirt for my and show the whole world how oke elma is!

The more you tell other people about yourself and open up, the easier it is for them to hurt you (often unintentionally). IRL I'm usually afraid to tell people about some of my interests because I don't want to be seen as a freak or something by others who don't even understand my passion and just judge me based on their very limited knowledge of whatever I told them about. It hurts badly. Maybe for some socially awesome people it isn't a problem but for a social reject like me it is. So I kind of understand Bjenn. Or maybe he has different reasons, I don't know.

Oh, this is very off topic now! But wth.

I made two elma shirts back in 2006, they were very subtle. Brown shirt with a black contour of a kuski on the chest. I loved it and wore it all the time but nobody knew it was a computergame of course.

I don't have a home to hang an elma painting on the walls, but if I did I think I would most definately put the painting up! But I respect other mans opinions and also understand their reasons. Back to topic, I don't want to spend a lot of time and energy making an awesome painting if the winner would just leave it up on an attic/under bed/etc. So I guess we can rule that idea out. unfortunately ;).

I cant think of much atm. One idea is LGR tribute, I would make a "tribute lgr" of the winner. I am not a pro at making lgrs so I cant guarantee a great one, but I guess it's easy to make. Otherwise I guess it's money, even though it's so so so boring...

Imo money makes me more motivated, to have a goal that you reach for.
Money is money, and a LGR is.. a LGR.

If you would put like at least 60€ prizepool more people would play probably and try to win.
Could also have smaller amount for 2nd and 3rd place etc.

But it's a small community and you are not made of money I guess :P

So anything is fine really, and apprecihated!

Just came to think of dota2 international, 1,000,000$ prizepool for 1st place, 250,000$ for 2nd I think etc.. People gave up their educations and stuff just to be able to practice more, quite insane how big gaming has become, and that it is getting bigger and bigger.

I'm not winning this thing, but if I got an Elma painting from niN, it would have the best spot on my wall forever. Others who are in it to win it should speak up if they would prefer that too (niN is a great artist).

An elma painting by niN? Hell, this just made me start playing treks again! That would be like the best thing ever..

I would buy a wall just so I can hang it there, and never trade it in for anything, not even for a gazillion moneys.

Now excuse me, I have to go and beat that facker Bjenn.

If I had elastomania on my wall, and bring a girl home from club, don't you think it would be a bit de-hornyfying?
Pictures of computergame hanging on wall etc.
It's almost as bad as having Justin Beiber there =)

This is what I think anyway. But I'm sure niN painting/picture would be awesome!

Maybe niN can make some picture, and people could buy it, like an auction.

Maybe, but just maybe, you are selecting wrong girls, also maybe you dont have the balls to show them who you really are.

Edit: I proudly show my wall to anyone. (sry for bad quality)

I don't like Justin Bieber, but if someone likes him and has him on the wall, what's wrong with that? I'm not going around and bitching if someone likes the stuff I don't like.

Big hugs to all calling me good artist and such, Nice to hear ofc!

Bjenn, how about this: I make the painting for winprize, and if you win then you can sell/give/whatever the painting to someone who wants it? Maybe they will buy it for 20€or something. Dunno.

And lets make one thing clear: I am not a painter. I have done some extremely basic drawings in early school, but I am not a pro. So the painting would be made pure by the feel from me. I might smoke a joint or two before-hand and then go creative. Also, the way I picture it in my head is not very computerised, so you could hang it up and say it's a picture made by a friend or something. Nobody who doesn't play elma would know what it was anyway I don't think. Just don't have too high expectations because you might become disappointed.

Also, Bjenn, I think you have to hoyl a little bit more if you want to worry about winning ;)

Great to hear waszi! Keep hoyling bros! And VALDO has been a very productive little fellow. I see him playing treks quite often! The effort is very appreciated. The WRTT is still not u35 but extremely close. You have about two more months to hoyl it so no stress, but it would be nice if the video had some sick replays and I'm sure there are some times that can be improved a little!

I guess no need to poll this one, painting for winner? seems so. Will leave a little more time for nay-sayers.

Hello! nindex is up now and it's time to up your recs!

It's a very simple job, you can upload a zip file with all 59 best times replays in it. You can also update your besttimes any time until the 17th of may (so dont worry about multiuploading). If you prefer not using zip you can also upload individual rec files.

You can read all info on the website: http://jonsykkel.mooo.com/nindex/ (special thanks to jon for server)

! Remember to register the same nick as you use in Elma Online.

Questions and such can be asked here. I will make new nindex thread soon also. I suggest you upload all your trek recs asap and if you improve then you can up again!

2. He don't se the point of giving rec, when u can go in elmaonline to find times.
3. He is wondering why anyone should upload recs before they are done hoyling/ 17'th.

But who knows what he really ment. Atleast igge doesn't...

Lets make rules a little more clear: It is enough just to drive online. You will not be disqualified if you dont up recs.

But Please, up recs to nindex so we can make this whole competition a lot better with a great movie and replay collections to share at the end. Also, nindex will be hosting Trek Tracks wr table, so it's nice if you upload there to make it as complete as possible :)

Why the site is up already is so that people can up recs early. I think that a lot of people are already done hoyling and maybe they want to up their recs now so they don't have to think about it later.

Anyway, you have a month to up and improve recs. Please do it for the sake of the trek experience :) And more questions please ask, but everything should be clear.

Whatever you did to help Hosps problem with times on the site, you made it quite worse.
My totaltime dissapeared, and all levels in list are with big letters "TREK". When I send in a new time, a new row places in the bottom with the normal letters "Trek".

So for every new time I upload I get double rows for that level, one TREK in norm place, and one Trek in bottom.

I accidentally uploaded unfinished rec, and it accepted it. Bad cooooode =)

I tried again with 0,10 long rec, and it accepted it too, so now I have like 32TT on nindex site.

I'm trying to upload my new pr, but it says error, probably cuz a "faster" time already exists in my table.
Please fix.

Please don't up any more unfinished recs until I fixed script because I just have to manually delete them from database which is a little annoying work :)

Good job Bjenn and other guys hoylin! WRTT is now 34:34,86

I will take this opportunity to apologize in advance because I know for a fact that the Winner prize will be delayed! I haven't made the painting yet and looking at my work shedule in Iceland I will have lots to do. Winner will get the painting, only when is not 100% yet :) expect to get it in the summer though, ofc!

Video should still be made relatively early.

We're coming up on the last two weeks of this Epic Contest and the WRTT is down to 34,27!

Nice to see guys =) Last calls to pull a few tricks now! It all ends on the 17th of THIS MONTH!
