Bjennstream on twitch.tv

Post by Bjenn »

I'm streaming elma now and then.
Come join when I play battles or make levels, practicing internals and playing 1htt attempts.

If you want to join in Skype you are welcome.

You can see in my signature if stream is live, I usually post in #across when I turn it on though.

I do think streaming is cool and would be great to get some non-elma-playing watchers, but on the other hand I think showing other players' styles is a problem (like showing Zero's style in stream when he was winning and even advertising it the other day) :S

Well I'm not going to put 15min delay on the stream, that's insane.
I don't know any rule that says streaming isn't allowed =)
If people want to cheat it's not my problem.

People cheat in other games too when players stream, but it was sure wrong of me to advertise it like that (even though less than 2min left of battle :P).

Others opinions?

Already followed some weeks ago, I'm up to watch stream on stuff you cant spy in-game or when I don't have access to eol. I just hate the ~15s twitch delay between live and broadcasted.

I think its good thing, many people were streamtalking, when playing some games against streamers.

Well, when you interact with people (talking or replying in chat), it's hard to remember what happened 15s ago when people are commenting on an event. Surely depends on the game played, but when I streamed Minecraft for some friends, it was a mess. When there's no interaction, doesn't really matter, but whats the point of streaming if you could upload a video later?

That's why you can set custom delay. The default 30s delay sucks balls.

Only twitch partners can set a custom delay?

I think twitchpartners have no delay, while those who don't, have.

I can set a delay in OBS though. But it is not recommended, it can screw things up on user end.
You obviously want to have as little delay as possible, else it wouldn't be live.

Everyone has the default 30 second delay, even twitch partners.
