2560x1440 crashes

Post by Xiphias » 11 Jun 2020, 08:57

On one of my computers eol crashes when I enter a level if I set the resolution to 2560x1440 in eolconf.
It is a 4k laptop connected to a 27” inch monitor with 2560x1440 resolution. Only the external display is enabled.

Pretty sure the same resolution works with the same setup but using another machine (1080p laptop). Any particular reason it crashes for me?

Its crashing over xxxx x 1118, but there is a patch to fix that.

Setup your resolution, then start program. (needed to do only once after seted up reso)

On Steam: I needed to copy the ddraw.dll file from 'merged' folder to 'player' folder.

I've got 5120x1440 and I just cannot get higher than 2500x1100. Just don't know what's the magic config param to tweak to avoid crashing.
