fixing time's in externals

Post by jw »

I have a question, I know Abula can fix times in state.dat, but is there a possibility to fix/delete bugtimes from externals?
(I know some people would say: delete lev and hoyl again, but if you have a hoyled top ten and then a bug time as best time that isn't very nice :x )

I allready have start with a "empty" level and broke my old pr, but I'm still interested to know if somebody, maybe not Abula, but somebody has that kind of prog. Maybe there are not to many levels where you can get bugtimes, I don't know. But next time this will happen and I'm not good enough to break my pr, I will ask Abula.

I don't have such a program. Or maybe I do because mrickx gave me some programs but I haven't checked them. It's easy to make one though so most likely someone has.

There was one (it was on Moposite), but I think it removed all the times in the level. I never tried it though so don't take my word for it.

MGen can change your name (probably Abula, Hibernatus, milagros too), he did for me long time ago.

Hey, it's just a small .lev file, I really don't think changing name or editing times can be a problem to those who knows the code language.
But I'm suprised to hear moposite had external times remover.. I never saw one, but I guess it's true since MagnusB seemed to be sure about it.

I don't remember if there was such a program but it's not impossible. The program isn't any harmful if it can only remove times, not edit or add.

I am, let's say, 75% sure that it was on Moposite. :)
A program like this would just be useful, not harmful in any way. Someone should make it, if it doesn't already exist. ;)

Yeah, but if you can edit times, you can turn shadow world record in a cheated word record, so it may only delete times and not edit.
