Golden Elma

ok, i have a new bloody problem :
last time i hoyled apple harvest, i'm jumping from island to island, and suddenly, in mid-air, the game stucks for 2 secs. i think : how did i die? (you know, there's a delay when you die) my head didn't touch anything, there are no inivisible killers... but then the game recovers and i see that the bike kept moving, and i died on the next island. so simple - the game stucks for 1-2 seconds, which is critical.

and if thats not enough, after playing for another 4-5 minutes in ah, suddenly i get my "Golden elma" status : all the colors in the game are weird, but most of it is golden.... and its not "cool" like lgr, its really annoying coz those colors got no sense and they make my eyes hurt, so i die in 5-10 secs!

the stuck thingie happens in 1:20 runs, the golden thing is 1:10.

i'm pretty sure that there's a prog involved.

PLEASE help me, i'm desperate

Ah that thing is so cool! It usually happens when I Alt+Tab, but it sorts itself out when I start (or exit) a level...someone should make that an lgr

When I play head banger and alt-tab out, the sceen is all purple.
I know what you mean by golden, i happens to everey one i guess.
it can be annoying, but I learned to ignore it while drving good times, but it isn't that fun in AH and LP, I garantee!

u guys r lucky because if it only happens when u alt+tab it wont interupt any good times sometimes i get it after 5 seconds every time every time i start a lev, but if i restart elma it works again.

it happens to me when im in elma and a file (for example battle lev) is completely downloaded....
when it happens during play, my elma normally fucks up : )

that happens when i play elma at xp... but never on win 98

elma has it's own 256-colored palette
sometimes when you change something (alt-tab, or some other progs does something) the pallette might not be good recovered
and the original one is that golden one

heh, I already thought what would changing that color at alt-tab or unexspected actions. I was tinking about unproper memory shit and all, but hell, it is just the palette.

They say when you play too much elma you might experience the game colour scheme inside your head getting twisted which causes you to see elma the way you see it. I had the problem too when I played alot in the past, never see it these days. It's generally considered a free tip, or a "warning" you could say.

i fixed it now, it was a spyware.
sometimes when you alt+tab you have it for a second.
but believe me, you don't wanna know what it is.

Yeha thats not golden elma,it called glitch,since its fixed yipee no more glitches,this also happens on my emulators/roms like earthworm jim 2,i use Zsnes as an emulator and it makes that glitch too,its bad,you dont wanna see it right,its a bad glitch that calls the demons

I've had the same problem, and then I discovered that always when a pop-up window appeared (usually caused by spyware) while I was playing, my elma went "golden".

actually i'm 99.9% sure, coz it happened to me SO often, and after i ran spybot and removed all the spywares, it didn't happen even once!
and many other problems were fixed too... for example slow-typing in address line (you write a url and it fully appeaes only after 10 seconds...), or even more important - the random Ctrl clicking (this is my alovolt key. someitmes i found myself doing a good run, and then sudenly crazy volts ruined it all).

Interesting. Then I belive it simply just happens when there's activity like that in the background. Still though, I belive it happens perfectly randomly as well.. but not by far as often as with for example you, WkE, when you had some spyware causing it.
