...Is there any chance to disable Vsync without those "Great" graphic cards?

I have a normal, not so good Videocard, and theres no menus where you can disable and stuff like that... :?

Well is there a menu about.. ummm.. let's see... maybe Direct 3D like everyone says and not a menu about YOUR videocard.

Try PowerStrip, maybe it works: http://entechtaiwan.net/util/ps.shtm

It has your video card supported for sure.
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

ok ill do teh explain again...

right click rivatuner in the tray on the bottom right

Performance Profiles -> Configure

UNCHECK the box that says "Disable support for driver options" its on the right, about the middle. now look at box full of options in top right

to disable vsync, check teh box "disable vertical sync (Direct 3d)" and uncheck box "Enable vertical sync (OpenGL)"

to enable teh, check "enable vertical sync (OpenGL)" and uncheck "Disable vertical sync (Direct3d)" so oppisite to disable

now find teh save as button and name "elma" or "elasto mania" it doesnt matter. now do teh OK and back to menu again, click teh apply and exit.

now if u click the tray icon and go to performance profiles, u will see teh elma or whatever u named it!if u click on it, it will set it to which ever u set it as, enabled or disabled.

to switch or edit anything else, go back to configure and find the drop down manu at the bottom that says (Current Settings). drop it down and find the elma one u created. now edit what u want in box up top right, and click save as again (i cant see just save anywhere :? ) and save over the old one. click apply to have it changed

hope this works for most people :)

When i uncheck, the only options i can check/uncheck in the right corner is:
Asynchronous flip (OpenGL
Use tripple buffering (OpenGL)
Force anisotropic filtering (OpenGL)

There isnt moer features than that...

I found how to turn vsync off with ATI cards:

Open CATALYST control center, in the left menu select "3D" and then "all settings". Scroll down to "Wait for vertical refresh" and set it to "Always off". All other settings seems to be equal to "on" in Elma.

No, its not the Mhz. Check MOPOSITE TWEAKING PAGE for more information about tweaking, tuning, whatever, (almost) everything is explained there.

Yesterday I made some testing - I changed my 32 mb NVidia to 64 mb ati radeon (both cards are a bit old..) in hope to increase FPS. With nvidia I use to have 60 FPS with vsync on, about 130 FPS with off with 640x480 resolution and 300 FPS with 320x240 (really max resolution :/). With radeon I have 85 with on but only 110 with off (640x480) and 220 with 320x240 resolution.
It is possible, that 64mb card is even more shitty than 32 mb one? Or am I just tunning wrong in some way? Any advices?

I have a ATI radeon 9000 64mb myself, and I got 60fps with on, and 510fps with off on 640×480 and 1150fps on 320×240, quite a difference with yours.

Did you perform those tests with both times the timer off? The timer eats up quite some fps, so it differs a lot when on or off. You can also try update driver.

Still, I'm only a nab on this subject, can't help you out I guess :|

It was everything with timer and map off. My card was ATI Radeon 7200, probably it's max shit.

But it does if you can play elma, and as we all can play some elma, it matters.

The FPS is not limited, but considering elma tuning >1000 FPS does not make any difference.
