Keyboard problems.

Post by Flyrre »

I have a new Comp and I have just installed Elma. But when I play the comp won't let press more than 2 buttons at the same time. For example I can't hold gas, brake and volt at the same time and that really sucks :(
Anyone knows what to do about this problem? I am running Windows XP if that could be of any help.

I would think it's either that the keyboard can't handle more buttons pressed, or the motherboard can't.

Anyway, I could never play elma without being able to press gas+brake+volt+space+volt

Haha, that's a funny line.

I myself can't push more than two buttons at a time too. It's annoying. But I don't have an old keyboard.

The solution is simple, just change the controls to different keys. There's no such thing as a keyboard you can't press more than two keys at a time on. It's just that different combinations work on different keyboards for some weird reason.

I can find good keys for elma on about 90% of all keyboards. I always try pløæ , åøæ' (won't work on non-scandinavian keyboards :-P) or different spots on the numpad (+space) first cause some of those combinations mostly work.

Side note: TorInge uses the most mongo buttons ever now: *,NUM8,NUM9,+,/(alo) and space, because he lost his old keyboard :-P

Yes, that's one solution, but then I can't play with those controls I like. And now, I'm used to it.. =)
