this has been asked about 666 times. create new, save it as QWQUU0xx . warm up: xx = 01, steppes: xx = 10 then re-open it

Yes. Make a new level and save it with this name: "qwquu0xx" where "xx" is the number of the level. If you want to edit Apple Harvest for example, you should save the level with this name: qwquu054.lev
Once you have the level in the editor, in order to make changes, you'll have to rename the file name again, or else once you press play, the modifications you made will be gone.

EDIT: damn you jaytea, too fast :?

Maybe Abula should simply make a sticky for an FAQ or problem topic...makes much more sense
