Quitting Elma crashes my computer

Post by WkE »

Hi there... got a serious problem with elma, showed up today.

1. Sometimes when playing a level, the bike will suddenly move much faster, along with the timer. In replay it looks all ok, but when playing it simply boosts the bike with no apparent reason.

2. When quitting elma, I get a grey-black screen where I can only see my cursor. Other than that, the computer is stuck. I have to restart the computer, other solutions will not work.

Any help? :(

First: Xiph LOL :D

second: My friend had the same problem, can't remember how he fixed it though, but it is fixable. I think he did something to the state.dat
Team HotHorses, and I'm converting to Icelandian now...

Don't think the state.dat has anything to do with it.

Could maybe be relative to elma.res or graphic card driver.

WkE, try to download an older driver as we were talking about. Have you touched your 3D settings?

no, just changed the vsync...

anyway, played and quitted elma like 5-6 times today and no crash. also no sudden-speed while playing... I think it might have something to do with the vsync configuration I dealt with.
If the problem returns i'll try to install older drivers as you suggested.

thanks everyone, hope I won't need this forum again soon :?
