state.dat problems

I've recently been hoyling Over and Under hard(just got 30.00 today, and whole top 10 is world class, which is rare for me), and just recently my computer hung, and I had to reboot. When it came back, my state.dat was completely empty. I have a 5 day old backup, so all levels except this one is ok.
I wonder now if it's any chance I(or anyone else) can edit the state.dat to recover my stats on that level. I know the times because I got recs of 'em all.

... or am I doomed to hoyl it another 50 hours to get it back?

Edit: fuck I just saw it was a LOT of levels that I lost my best times in....

it is possible to do it, I know abula offered to fix mine a while ago (though he never did it). I don't know if anyone would be hassled to do it though. I don't know how to do it, if I did I would do it for you

Damn if it could be done it would save me a lot of hoyling hours... I uploaded my times to elma stats compare just 2 days ago and that one includes all my times except my 30.00 on O&U.

well contact the site manager, chances are they save the state.dat when you upload it. it would be easier for whoever to just edit one time because I remember abula sayign it's a real pain in the ass to edit states. and you would have a bigger chance of getting help.

I just sent them and e-mail about it. Really hope they save the files, I somehow believe the don't, however...

stats.elastomania.ru doesn't save state.dats, it just parses them into mysql base, and temp files are deleted in about an hour.
I can fix your state.dat besttimes if you supply me with your last state.dat backup and your besttime replay on O&U.
I can also reconstruct lost toptens if you give me your stats.txt of lost state.dat.

I don't have any solution to offer you but only a tip: Every time i make a new best time, i send the state.dat file to my email. This way, i have a backup of every single state.dat file i ever had.
