WHY WR TABLE SUCKS?

Post by milagros »

i don't know why didn't pexi put elmander's wrs into the table
just becuase they think he is samu?
that sucks a lot
and if he is samu, who cares?
wr table is full of former cheaters
if somebody made better than i did in ff i don't what to hold wr anymore
yea, elmander had my replay, it was easy to cheat (also easy to cheat steppes) (with samu's way)
but if it's not proven, nobody cares
and that photo is fake, but he didn't tell TB to put it there

I haven't got any mails from him. It's quite hard to update something that doesn't exist.

not because of alovolt as such but becaus now there is no real skill in doing alovolt, all u have to do is press a button. those guys had to do it the hard way

There wasn't a particular skill in doing alovolt, just press two buttons and hope for it to work. I mean, you pressed exactly the same buttons, at exactly the same time each try, and some times it worked, most of the times not (for most peoples computers at least). I don't see the skill in that.

I agree with SveinR, the skill is to know WHERE you should use alovolt, not how you ACTIVATE it.

without alovolt i meant. he could make fair game but in that case maybe it wouldn't become more advanced along with the computers

All it would take, is for Balazs to post 1 message saying "Dont use any extra programs, everything that doesnt come with the game is considered cheating" and everyone would listen! No more debating, arguing etc about what is and what isnt allowed.
Oh Balazs, save us from ourselves!

well a m8 drove over and under with supervolt from nowhere l000ng before alovolt. You could make it easier if your cpu speed was bad...like under 200mhz it's easy to press <- and -> simulatenously

I heard some complaints for wr table looking ugly from both bene and tm, so I took some time to fiddle around in chrome dev tools and came up with this css to center everything nicely

Code: Select all

.wrtable td.wr, .wrtable td.wrnew {
    vertical-align: middle !important;
    padding-top: 0px !important;
    padding-bottom: 0 !important;
    height: 24px !important;
    line-height: 24px !important;
}

.wrtable td a {
    display: inline-block !important;
    vertical-align: middle !important;
    height: 20px !important;
    margin-top: -2px !important; /* workaround centering logo due to line-height: 24px bottom aligning logo that has only 20px height (woulda been much easier if wr holder name was wrapped into a span or smth) */
}

I didn't test other browsers than chrome, but I don't see why it wouldn't work in all browsers, cuz all this css is super ancient.

If you want I can try to explain the css.

Let me know if that helps :bear:

I don't get it why Abula, who is in touch with px on a daily basis, won't remind him to update the records or do it himself if px is THAT busy. Anyone to solve this absurd brainfuck?
<Pawq> at a gym you have only 3 options: 1. have your eyes closed, 2. stare at yourself, 3. stare at others, all of which are either super boring or disgusting

I think we as a community, nicely but decisevily, should go together and DEMAND a CHANGE,
as this has obviously gone too far.
I'm talking SPAM, instant messages, all that stuff.

!!!Viva La Revolución!!!

I'm joking in some sense, obviously.
