in the explanation of countris abbreviation, you have eg. finnish not finland, and australian not australia, but for new zealand you have new zealand, shud have an "er" on the end to make it rite

But you can't have Finn-ish, Australi-an (same as Australi-ish) and New Zeeland-er. The first two mean 'something from country in question', the third means 'person from country in question'.

wtf,
yea u can, thats the way it would be put anywhere else in the world,
its just the plural used for that kind of stuff,
if i had my way it would be kiwi not new zealander, but abula said he wont do that, theres no hard and fast rule about how the ending of countries name is used its just the way it is

So you would say 'this is a Finnish apple', and 'this is a New Zeelander apple'? If you would, I surrender. I don't really know anything about this, it just sounds a bit weird to me.

nah wen u put it into a sentence you put an "s" on the end of the "er"
"this is a new zealanders apple" ot that could be wrong on the plural thing
as i said there is no hard and fast rule about this, im sure it comes down to what is generally acepted by most peple,

but in the end it doesnt matter, but i would still like to change it to kiwi, but if thats not possible then new zealander is fine

Kiwi, some bird or fruit to me.

Isn't "New Zealander's apple." same as "Finn's apple." or "Abula's apple." So "A Finnish apple" is same as "A Kiwi apple"? So Finnish and Kiwi are nationalities but New Zealander and Finn people.

I checked that New Zealander thing. Looks like martin is right, you do say "A New Zealander sheep". :) So I suggest you change it to "New Zealander" Abula.

martin: Mick is older and write proper English and of course it's always better to have multiple opinions. I would have put Kiwi (slang) if not asked Mick.

martin wrote:yea i kno,

this has nothing to do with rivarly martin. it has to do with correct english in fact. you are a new zealander in proper english. maybe a kiwi to me or another aussie just like an englishman is a pom, but thats slang. i assume abula wants to keep his site professional so correct english is used.

Links updated. Quite a few new ones added and erroneous ones removed. Two sites worth mentioning are FM and IC team sites. They are both nice looking site for two great teams of the scene. Just check your News archive and you understand. Million lines of text and million mistakes, too much work to fix.

Illegality page:

I suggest you change this:
That's was the reason why we had to close most lists on Moposite when the patch became.

To this:
That was the reason why we had to close most lists on Moposite when that patch was released.

Hmm, I think it should still be "when the patch was released" but im not sure of the context it's used in...

There are many ways to word phrases like this. E.g, "The patch was the reason why we had to shut down most lists on Moposite.", or "Because of this/the patch, we had to close down most lists on Moposite"
And ChuckleS is right, there was no reason to change the to that.

From Records section: "Deadline of sending in state.dats to the Records section update is 12:00 EET every Sunday."

This isn't really wrong, but I think you should change it to something like "The Records section is updated 12:00 EET every Sunday", since it isn't really a deadline.

I never update at 12:00 EET on Sunday. It's the deadline. All state.dats which are sent before that get to the update (unless I made some mistakes). You can send in after the deadline too but it depends on my mood if I take them or not to update (usually I take). Not a big deal anyway.

Deadline of WRs is at 24:00 EET on Saturday but Records at 12:00 EET on Sunday. Confusing? Blame PeXi.

LOM page wrote:Also please let the level unlocked and drive one base time. A deadline of sending in is the last day of the month.
Should be:
Also please let the level be unlocked

Or even better:
Also please leave the level unlocked.

And "The deadline" is better than "A deadline" even though "A" is grammatically correct.
