Hey, I was 6th (second best of humans, over 47 apples is inhuman) in WCup414, that's not bad! skint0r hates pipe levels but so what, he does always his job well.

No it's not bad :) And "skint0r is skint0r" and "skint0r always does his job well" are two ways of saying the same thing ;)
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

zworqy wrote:OMG, what are you on?? Pipes is a sucky theme. On the other hand, pipes can be many things. Like the internal level "Pipe" which actually doesn't contain any pipes in the most common Elma-meaning, but what I would like to call pipes.

It's when you are driving on normal ground or upside down with a thin polygon just above the wheels. I guess most of you would call it "rollercoaster".

Or you can make a level with a plumber theme :P
Yeah agree you just don't have to make a pipe level like Abula's Wcup Lev you just have to broaden your mind in theme levels.

i have to agree i think this theme is really bad. there were plenty other themes and suggestions posted here like the sports. so why pick something like this? also
Antz @ #Across wrote:[22:04:11] <antz[Q]> imagine what soc will feel like, with all the levels saying "MONGO" and some other stupid things about soc?
[22:07:14] <antz[Q]> i feel like this is the same as our school band - just as a joke - made a joke song about one really big fella (2m, 150kg), about his fatness, that was also at the school and i felt really sorry for him because he obviously understandably did not like the song at all. people were laughing at the song and him and it's not right to do such a thing. imo abula should change the theme to something more neutral and better
[22:07:47] <antz[Q]> i don't find this sort of joking about some individual funny at all
[22:08:47] <antz[Q]> whether or not soc approves of this i'm against it

I agree that this month's theme should be changed. Abula must have had a blackout or something.
<Fihlvein> another case of zworqy-is-always-right closed i guess

Don't like the theme, have never met a kuski in my life, was looking forward to making a level... :?

Some suggestions...
* Computers
* Theme park
* City, rooftops

Hey, here's an idea! :idea: Like, if you were shrunk to rat size, and everything was big. You could drive over books and go into mouseholes and stuff, that would be pretty cool... :D

yeah. and all the levels will almost certainly have just some dumb SoC quotes all over it. yipee what a great theme. also this is the kind of level where using radim program gives huge unfair advantage.

The raters can see if you use that prog for making letters, so that won't give any add's in visiality, atleast shouldn't.

I wasn't going to joke about SoC's stupidity or whatever else you can imagine. I also thought about Karlis theme. Maybe SoC would have been flattered because being the first individual as a theme. I agree this was a bit unfair for players not in ircing at #across. Thus new theme is set: History

And people please don't post here telling the SoC theme was better than History. Blame yourself why you didn't do it before I changed it.

Kopaka wrote:When I saw the LOM april levels, I got kinda sad. It was easily to see that two of the levels was made with this prog. And then you think, is all the polygon made with the prog, or only some of them ??? Must have been hard for raters to rate this.

So pleeeeaaaaaaase don't use this prog in level contests like LOM, eLopa, ILDC ect.

That's just one more problem with the program, then if some level is made very well, ppl can think it's made with that prog and think: "baah he's just using radims levelmaker prog, he's no good at all" but maybe he hasn't used it :/ Like with your level. :?

Yes I did. I just wanted to see how to do it.
But then, it was sure a sucky level, what proofs, that if you use radim's level maker, you still can have a much more better level if you just use the ingame editor.Some reason why I used it is that I didn't got enough time for it.(only a couple of hours)
BTW, The non-letter polygons were not made with radims level maker.
firstly I made a rough design, then I put the letters in with MS paint, after that I imported the level again. One suprise was that the level had been resized and that it went down. :lol:
than again, I only became 9th.

I always thought that it would be cool if we had a LOM that was those levels where you dont touch a thing, that is you just let them run themselves. The official theme could be 'Automation' or something.
