Direct feedback to moderators

Post by ribot »

The fact that this is a half dead forum needs to be taken into account by the moderators. Furthermore, the moderators need to be able to explain themselves, and more so, to listen to the community and grow as a person. They have a responsibility here and they should be the most mature and considerate people of the forum.

Abula as a moderator was clear on what he wanted and did it. He wanted the forum in his own way and had people follow it or be banned. It worked in those days because the scene was alive.

But now when there are few people here we should protect that little life that is there. It doesn't work that some random guy takes over, according to SveinR's own words: "he's moporator because noone else is doing anything". An upgiven attitude like that is pretty much just allowing the half dead forum to get even worse. It was a mistake to give this role to Sla. It was poor judgement of him to lock a topic that was the exact same category as his own, and many people were writing to it in a very short time. If he unlocks the post and apologizes, the topic might still be lost forever, but at least he would be able to show that he has a sense of descency, and that he is willing to improve as a person and grow to be able to handle this role properly.

With that said, feedback from others is good too, to give any moporator the chance to listen and take actions based on the community rather than his own selfish desires. This hasn't happened before in mopolauta, but it's an opportunity now for discussion.

i akree

sumarized order of recent events
1. person create topic
2. many mans posting in topic having a good comversation
3. moperator decide to lok topic out of nowhere with no explanation shuting down the good comversation

cud sla give a good explanation to why this was a reasonable decision
if fail do that, maby sign that its time to find moperator that doesnt make impulsive nonsensical decisions
