Post by User » 22 Sep 2005, 14:20

My goal in life is to not show my penis to anyone.
of course somevody saw it when i was a child and all,
but thoes wont count. maybe i should have a harder goal,
i dunno, i guess my penis is kinda hard to see, so easy to keep
it hidden but anyway tell youre goals here

i have small penis.

i will tell you some good words that i have heard. all trails in life lead nowhere. what you can do is choose a trail with heart, or one that you think may have heart.

For me there is only the traveling on paths that have heart, on any path that may have heart. There I travel, and the only worthwhile challenge is to traverse its full length. And there I travel looking, looking, breathlessly

Where ? You're the only who really know, this I'm sure

1. To have fun (= experience life as whole)
2. Leave a good legacy
3. Minimize pain

Not stress/work myself to death.

No point to work hard 50 years to enjoy 10 years of old age

Better to enjoy 50 years and enjoy 10 years of old age anyway

If those are not progressing yet:

1. Make a list of the required steps. One step being from 5 mins to max 1 day.
2. Proceed one step everyday. If lazy day, take the 5 min one.
3. Track down your hours so you can't cheat yourself. It's progressing only when you are proceeding.
4. Enjoy your life. The positive feedback loop will give satisfaction soon after you start.

By this method you can do everything. After the first few projects you realize it really works and then the world is open. You will learn more while doing. If you just wait for the right moment, it's not going to ever happen. Many people get work done only when forced but that's not the way to prosperious life. Too late to start now? Only if you are 100 % happy. Usually life could be much better than now.

A good measure when the step is too big is when it feels like "nah, tomorrow". Split it.

Having a single goal for life seems like a big responsibility and difficult to keep track of, especially as the goal might be something huge.

A life goal of mine: write a symphony.
Progress: two movements complete, one has been performed multiple times under different conductors, the other has been read by a professional orchestra. Have arranged the first one for concert band and it will receive a second performance this year.

I think it is within grasp to write more than one symphony though. Just need to take the time.

wtf, that's better than national records of women in most countries around the world 8O 8O O.o I know you are a man, but what the hell, are you a pro runner?

edit: oke, found your post from 22 Apr 2016:
Ran 10k for the first time yesterday, 7 min/km, knees pretty busted
:) :) nvm
But I guess some 2xlow is doable with a lot of training for anyone

No I'm not pro runner and yes 15low is probably unrealistic, but I'm only 21 years old so I still have time to train speed IMO.

My current PB is still very very far away as it's some 21:35 (assuming the indoor track I ran it on was 350m, ppl weren't 100% sure but that felt about right)

It's obviously not an easy goal but something to aim for... even if I never get there I'll hopefully at least land somewhere near that. even 16low or 17low 5k would be awesome. It's really hard for me to predict how fast I can get, because I haven't really trained consistently/properly yet.
