Yeah, at least Gerrad has got short blonde hair, I think slowly they're going to phase out of emo, just listen to the lyrics of the songs:

"I am not afraid to keep on living" <-- Emos ARE afraid to keep on living

"We'll Carry on! We'll Carry on!" <-- Emos don't carry on, they just stop completely.

just proof that they seem to be anti-emo. They even reject "Emo" as a term to describe their latest album.
