the score was 3-1 with goals by popovic, kewell and emerton (aus) and jeffers (eng)

the odds were something funny like 7:1 against aus

yea, a pom 2nd 11 team that had a 17 year old striker in it

if you had of read anything about it martin you would know that we beat their best 11 by 2 goals in the first half so they put on the younger players and we still got 1-1 against them. how do you like them apples.

to the other guys: what martin is saying is just kiwi jealously of aussie, its not uncommon

no it counts, but you cant claim it as a brilliant victory against a full strength aussie team

but u got beta players then warne anyway,
did you see our win against south africa last nite, if it hadnt rained and we had gone on to get the 307 required it would have been a way beta result than the way we beat them after the rain,
and i think that we would have beat them rain or not
