Formula 1

Post by zworqy »

So what do you think? Who's da man? Will Schumi be World Champion again? How long will Raikkonen last on 1st place?

Of course Ferrari is the best team, everybody knows that. Michael Schumacher kicks ass but I like Barrichello better in a way.

I dont' know what the Minardi team is doing in formula 1... they suck soooooooo hard. Why don't they just give it up?

I think Schumacher will win again, despite the poor start. I'd write more if I'd thought of something.

Raikkonen is the coolest driver, McLaren is the coolest team.
So boring when Scumi wins race after race. Raikkonen is a guy for the future.

I believe for sure Raikkönen will win the season one time in the future, but not now. Maybe not until Schumi retires?

schumi may win race after race but that caus hes fuken good, even if the cars were even there is only one other driver that would challenge him and that would jacque villenurve, of course schumi will win the world championship, i could go on for ever but i will quit there

omg, in some way I hate him so much...because back when he drived for Steward Ford, his teammate was Jan Magnussen, and Barrichello always got the best machines and stuff...even trough Magnussen is a better driver. And then because everthing went shit with the cars, Magnussen was fired from the team  and then Barrichello got a job at Ferarri, that could have been Magnussen as well, but they appearently didn't liked him at Steward Ford :(

Hmmz, in Formula 1 the driver with the best car has always won the championship in the last 15 years.

exeptions: 1991 Senna in a McLaren, while Williams had a better car.
1994 Schumacher in a Benetton, while again Williams had the better car.
Which show what good drivers Senna and Schumacher were/are.

And maybe 1999 Häkkinen in a McLaren while Ferrari had the better car, because I think Irvine should have won the championship but he just wasn't good enough to beat Mika.
Btw, Finnish Drivers rule, and not only in F1. Also Rally: Makinen, Gronholm. Fins must have exeptional reflexes, that's why they're good at elma too.

GREAT, Ferrari will not win!! They're just jerking around the last few races.
Next one in Monza, typical circuit that suits the very powerfull BMW engine.

Prognosis for the final championship standings: 1. Montoya, 2. Raikkonen 3. M. Schumacher 8)

3 weeks of testing tires at monza for scuderia means that they will be owning willaims and mclaren there, they got the motor, all the need is tires, if it rains, easy win for schumi

Williams already won there in 2001 with a less good car than they have now. Last year the Ferrari was to good, but this year Williams will eat Ferrari's at Monza

yep vvery truee! when he testdrove that car he could only drive 40 laps of 80 cus some problems, and he was improving his times around lap 40 and the team was sorry that happend..

it's a quite bad team, hope he joins a better :] very good driver.
some months ago in F3000 he was in lead with ~1½minute i think and when he was in goal(wich he tought) he stayed and talked to the team in his car, but he missed the finnishing line so he came 2nd i think :P annoying?

That wasn't excactly it. He slowed down so he could put his hand up to the mechanics, but he didn't stop...He got passed though, so he didn't lead by that much..more like 5 secs..

You shouldnt forget that when he left benetton the ferrari team was so bad, they last won the championship in 1979, and it was very hard to win a race with that car (berger and alesi were good drivers and they won only very few races that time with the ferrari). Anyway, i dont like schumacher, but its obvious that he could win the championship with a williams or a mclaren as well.
I still hope he would make a mistake in japan (not technical problem, mistake), and räikkönen will win :P

Yeah, I reckon Schumacher will win again, hopefully.

We should talk about Rally as well, where Solberg should win :)

But I guess you finns won't agree... ;)

What a load of bullshit. He most definately had no shit car back then. 94 Benetton maybe wasn't the best car in the field (Williams was). And 95 car was the best (even avarage driver Herbert won several times in that car). I can tell you this for sure: in modern formula 1 you can't win the championship in a shitty car.

Oh, and last weekends race was a total Montoya/Williams fuck-up. Schumacher is champion now (90% sure).

Anyway, my point was its not just him that wins, his car plays a huge part in the race too. He just happens to use the 'best' car and is the 'best' driver...
Anyway, I dont even like F1 racing...good discussion though
