Serj got a point.. I remember when Alonso made a shitty season last year.. This year he has a better car and he could win his first race. I'd love to see him winning rather than any other well known drivers.

Let's face it, Schumi is the best bcuz he has the best car... AAAAND bcuz he has also great driving skills.. It's a mix they gotta have to win races. If they don't have one of those two, they can't win.. it's simple.

I think (and hope) Shumi wins that point on Suzuka so he can leave with his sixth title. He can retire already  I knew he would win this year but I honestly think this is his last winning year.. Maybe Juan Pablo will finally have his chance next year  I'll support both..

Omg? wtf rules

I thought all their new rules mostly went to either enhance safety or lessen the differences between teams. This sure doesn't enhance safety at least..

I guess i will lead to safety because everyone drives max careful so they don't blow up the tires... but it also makes it more boring... :(

http://www.pitstop.com.my/f1rules.asp#2005 wrote:Tyres

During the Event no driver may use more than four sets of dry-weather tyres, four sets of wetweather tyres and three sets of extreme-weather tyres.

If a driver change is made during an Event the tyres allocated to the original driver must be used by the new driver.

Other than in cases of force majeure (accepted as such by the stewards of the meeting), all tyres intended for use at an Event must be presented to the FIA technical delegate for allocation prior to the end of initial scrutineering.

The use of tyres without appropriate identification may result in deletion of the relevant driver’s qualifying time or exclusion from the race.

The only permitted type of tyre heating devices are blankets which use resistive heating elements.
Hmmm... do they mean 4 tyres or 4*4 tyres when they say 'sets'?

u are allowed to change tires if they explode ore something like that but i dont know if the are allowed to change if the weather changes.

I think it could be good with this rule. U have to make better tires and you need more skill from driver.

Yes, but if really mean 4 sets, then why wouldn't they use all sets? I didn't see teh training or qualification, but I vere much doubt they would waste 3 of 4 sets on that. At least not every single team, but I didn't see a single tire change in the race.

Big scandal today!

Post by zworqy »

Only 6 cars in race today... Michelin couldn't guarantee the security for the drivers because of crappy tires.

Everyone seems to blame Michelin, but personally I think the Indianapolis crew are to blame, tearing up stripes in the asphalt, wtf were they thinking!?
