Just returned from 15 week thailand trip. Had awesome time.
Was fun driving car around, have to drive left side and the traffic is quite hectic. Only killed one dog and wrecked my bumber, lucky it was not so expencive to fix.
Coming from +32c to -16c snowstorm is not so fun.

i'm going to czech and slovakia next week. only a short trip after a festival in poland.
important elma countries i will still need to go to: finland and russia.

@slovaks: are zilina or trencin nice cities? we are gonna be camping. i geuss we want a bit of nice nature but also come city action. or other suggestions?
or should we not do that and go to bratislava instead?

yes, both are nice cities with nice people. eventhough i'm from bratislava and we have some nice hills (Malé Karpaty), the environment and fresh air is SO MUCH better in zilina and trencin (people in bratislava are also kinda fucked up). i have friends who have studied in zilina and from their stories i have to admit that people were so cool there. so i can definitely recommend zilina.

I flew once to Paris. And I got to Denmark by ship, but I usually use roads. Some 18 hours by coach to French Alps was my longest journey. Generally I was skiing in Alps, so it's hard to get direct plane there. I know only Grenoble has airport in Alps. I don't know about other ski resorts.

Brother told me that I was in Russia when I was very young, but I don't believe him..

about flying to Alps, I know many people choose to fly to nearby cities, like Mediolan, and take a bus from there. Even such package holidays are in offer, quite convenient probably

Pawq within 8-9 from leaving home I can be in hotel anywhere in Austria. I guess I live closer to Vienna than Warsaw. You live on the sea side, so plane makes more sense to you than me. Other than that plane is better option but I only have time and money for skiing.
