HP Lovecraft - All the Cthulhu Mythos, excellent horror!
Edgar Allan Poe - Master of mysteries, most of his work is top-notch.
Douglas Adams - Hitchhiker's Guide... and the books about Dirk Gentley's Hollistic detective agency
Harlan Ellison - All the Sounds of Fear (GREAT Sci-Fi)
Friedrich Nietzsche - Everything (lest you won't understand him, don't really know if I should try to make people read his works, most totally misunderstand him.)
Schopenhauer - Die Welt als Wille und Vorstellung
Charles Baudelaire - Les Fleurs du Mal
George Orwell - 1984, Animal Farm (!!!)

Right now I'm reading Terry Pratchett: Guards! Guards!
I'm on page 294, and it's quite cool.

Next three books are gonna be Terry Pratchett: Pyramids, Douglas Adams: The Salmon Of Doubt and JD Salinger: The Catcher In The Rye (which I thought we were gonna read in English class a long time ago, but seems we're gonna start next week or in February or around that..).

by Dave Pelzer. 3rd book in his Triologies. Read at least 1st one, I dont have it by me so I cant check original title. But I think it is: "A Boy Called It"

now im in year 11 and at school it is compulsary to read books for the TEE...

Nowadays I only read english books.

Most recently:

Ramses (five books) by Christian JaquÃ© <-- These are a must!
Biostrike by Tom Clancey
A time to Die by Wilbur Smith
Temple by Matthew Reilly <-- One of the most exciting books I've ever read!

Other books that are very good is all the others by Tom Clancey and Wilbur Smith. Also some of Dean Koontz "horror" stories are very enjoyable

Clancey is the more military stuff while Smith writes mostly about the old Africa. VERY intresting and worth reading.

Its "A Child Named 'It'", then his second one is "The Lost Boy"

well, u suck!
no, for real, I thought it was a cool book, and well obvious, maybe, but still it was fun to read, I didn't quite exspected such an ending though. All in all it was nice to see the whole system and history was copied from communism scene.
