Well I have to say that long distance relationships suck beyond recognition.
I've been with my current girlfriend for almost 4 years now (3 years and 8 months or whatever like that) and a month ago she's gone to do her post-graduation in Lisbon - which is a bit more than 300km away. I have to say, it sucks. We hardly ever talk now, we're almost never together (once every two weeks IF lucky) and it's not been easy. I know it's hard for her to work and still have time to come home every week so I kind of understand when she has to stay there but even once a week it's not easy. My advice: get girls who live next door.

damrho that is indeed some suckage. i har long distance but its more like an hour away so i cane see her every weekend. and i agree it's really hard, every time she tells me that she's going out i get kinda jealous that other guys will be there. well whatever i saw her today so i'm happeyz =p

Just don't fall into the same mistake as I did. Cherish what you have today; don't take anything for granted even if you've been with her for a long time: she's a girl and girls have some crap inside their brains that just doesn't click right and somehow she'll end up f-ing up. Make most of your time with her.

Yeah but you're 16 and haven't spent the last 3 and a half years with the same person. It's amazing how you realize after this time that every girl I know right now is one of her friends (which pretty much means no soup for me in that department).

Well, we've been living together 16 months. We just moved to another city and it's very comfortable now with cheaper rent and all. We sold our old apartment and made some profit also, yay. I proposed her past autumn and our weddings are on June 2007. We both love animals and besides two dogs, later today a new family member will be arriving here, a female cat, which will keep our 1 year old male cat busy and hopefully they get along well.

I guess I could write this here..
I was up talking to a girl all night and we showed eachother pictures of ourselves. And omg she was soo good looking, not only that she was smart, kind etc.

And after we had been talking for a while she asks me if I would like to meet her in real life. And just as I read this my fucking chat program (ICQ) shuts down and it won't let me log in again...

Then, after like 30 hours, when I finally managed to fix the shit a window opens that shows me what she said to me while I was offline. the words were these: "Jaja und dann einfach so gehn ohne sich zu verabschieden...das haben wir ja gern" (she was german). I'm not sure but I think it means something like: Yeah Yeah, and then go without saying good bye, we REALLY like that... So basically, Fucking ICQ blowed my chance of meeting one of the hottest girls I've ever seen!

yea I come to realize this, well she was pretty mad and didn't believe me at first but after a lot of explanation I managed to convince her.

and abula I didn't think she was going to talk to me again because of what she said to me in german. I mean when you just met someone and you think they leave without saying good bye (and you're a girl) you might think that they are just shitting you.

coz my sisters were like "oooh they like you!!11", which I find reeealy stupid.
