Mozilla Firefox should be an option here, as many people seem to like it (yes I do see there's an 'other' option..).

Anyway, I guess you all can guess what I voted ;)

so many browsers ey.. i just tried maxthon (myie2) and it seems best yet. firefox was quite good too, but with some issues.

maxthon has: tabs, mouse gestures, and normal stuff + customize toolbar, and a lot of toolbar stuff. like an encoding button, undo button, utility button (opens external programs), adblock, view source button (original source and not a generated one like in firefox), and it can be minimized to tray, and it can remember the last page you visited and open it next time if you want to, and save sites to group.. and a lot more. it really is the most featured browser i know of, and i didnt even check all. didnt find any issues yet.

what about you others? still use the same browser?

I use Opera myself. I've found it very good, but too bad not every page works completely with it. For example, gmail.com doesn't support Opera.

I think you can only say which is best when you have tried them all. Since I have tried them all, firefox is easily the best.

I guess microsoft likes firefox more than ie too:

...indeed, not much. You're totally right here, ribot! :)

Back ontopic:
As some of us use opera, some of us use firefox and some use maxthon, it doesn't really matter, since we're all happy with the browser's speed, shortcuts, and other features. But I wonder why people still keep using IE, raw version. Can someone give me an answer to that PLS?

Stupid teachers have homepages that work only on IE, so I have to use it like once a month. Normally I use FIrefox. I had some problems installing plugins with the earlier release but now its ok, try it.

maxthon isn't that famous, firefox is more famous but not everyone knows about it. then ppl might think they are just crap browsers, like opera has been there for years but it used to not be too good. and you dont want to change browser when it is not really a better choise. these days it's hard to choose, because some browsers are better in some ways and others in other ways.
