Anyone want a gmail invitation????

i got 6 gmail invites, if someone wants one they need to put there NAME and EMAIL ADDRESS in a post on this thread, and i will use me own methods to see whether yur worthy of getting one.

No thank you. But could you tell me what's so special about gmail? All i know is you get 1GB storage and intrusive advertising.. nothing to make it worth signing up for so far

You also get a nifty search function for the e-mails in your inbox, which incorporates the google search engine of course. And long threads of Re mails are made out to look like, excactly, threads. More on www.google.com
For now it's only on the beta stadium though, that's why you can only get it by invite.

It has no ads, it's quick and easy to use.
Too bad many reject it based on the 1gb storage.

I'm not dissing the 1GB storage, I just don't see it as a reason to switch from other stuff. My concern is about how they scan the text in your emails so they can target you with adverts you might be interested in. It's a breach of privacy.

And who the hell uses hotmail, either?

well yahoo got 100 mb now, but all webmail services are kind of handicapped. gmail says they gonna change the email concept, and.
