I don't have an elma shortcut in my desktop either, what's the need for it? It's not THAT hard to do the start-menu way.. :)
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

man get a windows guidebook or something, that's really some very basic info - to get a screenshot.

-press print screen button, usually at top right on keyboard
-open ms paint (or any other graphic editor)
-choose edit->paste or type ctrl+v
-save the picture to the hard disk

then you gotta upload it somewhere and post link of it

Used to have all icons of programs that I use on desktop but I find it nicer actually to have only a couple icons and rest on startmenu. Actually I have my own start menu system which I find quite useful.
I like to enjoy relaxing background pictures without too much icons on its way.
