Unfortunately Maw, you listened to me about NOTHING except the gpu... Huge shame on you, half of the money has just successfully been wasted. And that page says it has Radeon HD 5770. And 460W PSU. I really wish that PSU fucking good luck handling 3.4 GHz i7 cpu (oh dear who buys that...), HD 6870 gpu and 16 GBs of 1333MHz RAM. Good fucking luck.Pawq to Mawane wrote:if new pc I really recommend putting one together yourself. it's rather ez, and will get you far better performance

so what, did it remove money from YOUR bank account? yes I admit some parts are useless, but overall is great to mePawq wrote:Huge shame on you, half of the money has just successfully been wasted.
oh, well, I modified some parts after that page, final stuff is in the list, still something that computer cant handle? [insert lame joke here] and why i7 would be SOOO wrong, its one of the latest processors on the marketPawq wrote:And that page says it has Radeon HD 5770. And 460W PSU. ofc i7 will provide sick performance, but probably not more than abit oced 2.66g 2core i5, which would cost like 5 times less. Also you haven't mentioned the power supply in the list Maw. And if it's really 460W that I feel sorry for you, it's less than I have for my configuration, which is like 10 times less demanding on power :/ (When I got this pc though I'd head 350W, which was too little, that's why I've changed to 500W)Mawane wrote:I modified some parts after that page, final stuff is in the list, still something that computer cant handle? I may guess, considering the heat when it shut down, that it didn't much.Pawq wrote:It may have stood is, but I guess it didn't like it.

maybe not as pentium 4, but probably as fast as a good old e8500 cpu xdHaruhi wrote:Lol. Have fun with your expensive computer that'll run as fast as a pentium 4 :)
oh well, I'll see when I'll boot computer and after a while, lets hope it works fine, if not, then I'll think about new PSUEcchi wrote:Well, as you're not gonna overclock it or anything it MIGHT work, but if it doesnt get enough power it will just shut down when it gets some load or just not start at all, shouldnt hurt other components though.
(Almost) all PSUs have standard sizes, so you don't have to worry about that (always worth checking).Mawane wrote:Ecchi wrote:any idea what else would be good? 600W? and must fit in computer box

Why would you swap when you can have both?Lee wrote:Just got my new computer today:

It came with a 1TB HDD but I might swap it out for a 2TB HDD that I already have.

I wasn't thinking when I typed that. I think I meant to swap it out as my main one but still keep the 1TB. The video card is so big that part of the internal caging has been removed to make room. This means that the case can only hold 2 HDDs at the moment.Bjenn wrote:Why would you swap when you can have both?
I need capacity more than anything. And high capacity SSDs are way too expensive for me.Pawq wrote:Buy an SSD Lee, it's so worth the investment! The difference is way beyond normal expectations!
