haven't played this game in 2 years, but i remember i had a very good score in 1 player mode. i unlocked all the characters too, but i hardly ever played board the platforms, or break the targets. i still have my n64 so i might try to get hold of ssb again

ofcourse don't play on emulator, cause you can easily cheat by loading and saving states.

You can always use project64, but it's much harder to hoyl with.

Would be awesome to record your runs though. But my computer would be too slow to run Project64, try it anyways, doubt you'll beat my records.

i had project64 about 2 or 3 years ago. it works perfect on my computer but i'd rather have the actual cartridge.

hmm, yeah, eb used to sell 2nd hand n64 games. maybe not anymore?

I'm not sure if you'll find anything at Cash Converters, but you should have a look, you don't know what you could find, and they are usually very cheap, so you should easily get it if you find it. does eBay have any carts?

anyway, nice vids there. too bad i never had n64 and have never player this game. i'm always fond of time attack based levs no matter what kind of a gender that game is

thanks axxu, but if I've learnt something, NEVER trust those stupid japanese, they always hoyl things better, don't let them have elma, or we'll have a new set of WR's and a 35 TT within a week.

ps. I'll copy them styles.

EDIT: I already had Yoshi's Target's style, but only finished it once that time, gratz for me.

EDIT2: I think there's something weird about this, fox shoots too fast then is possible.

EDIT3: with the version sam has, it's not possible to do a few of these tricks, eg, Captain falcon hitting in the air through walls.

I have also the same style for mario's platforms.

I Have EXACTLY the same style as c.falcon

I might actually have some 22.xx for donkey kong's platforms, beating the record there.

I'm not far off yoshi's wr. Same style as kirby's.

I had a friend who was a maniac at pikachu, and could get his platforms under 20sec, but I never saw how, until now.

my times are sax and ez improvable with the japanese styles.

I went on to the official n64 highscores geocities site, and it looks like some Australians are some of the best in the world at ssb. they pwned those times axxY posted up.

not bad at all for a few mins, missed WR once right at the end, would've been first under 25, (WR is 25"05, I would've got 24"95)

Don't know if its worth to mention, but for some unknown reason me and a pack of friends got to play this game every day. Soon we were all able to beat 3 lvl 9 Computerplayers in a team. That means you against 3 of them. without Items or Charakter- or levellimitation.
Well, kinda ... dunno ... whatever.
Has to be improved by using handicap. but not in that life. it would kill me X(

He could also beat 1p Very Hard mode with one life.

Sam Chat (my friend) got into the world lists with a score for kirby's 1p of

1,500,xxx

which is 14th in the world.

I'm hoping he can get the no damage clear (300,000) and do that on Very Hard (+80,000) (he did it on Hard) and get the speed demon award (80,000) and definately Hawk (18,000) on a few levels.
