WINDOWS - what version do you have?

Post by dz »

I´ve been running windows XP since 2001 when it came available. Recently, service pack 1 as released and I installed it right away. Everything is running without problems.

ELMA:
Elma is running great. you propably know win9x runs elma 100% smoothly, XP doesn't. There is a little "lagging" when you change direction but it's not at all a problem. I can't play anyway with 9x, too smooth what i've used to.

Windows 98 (maybe 2nd ed)
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?

heheh I had win XP just a few minutes ago, before I fucked it up.

elma in XP:
I had these weird blue flashes and the colours sometimes went crazy. (prolly my drivers caused this)

elma in 98SE:
I haven't had any problems with elma in 98se
Blimey.

I have XP currently, almost for one year already. It's lagging a bit but only if I am online. I tested win2k but too bad. Also ME and 98 have been in usage for some time, works on them.

had win98 from year 1998 ...then in a year 2001 or smth tried win2k...was worse than win98 on my p2 400mhz. Then about those times too changed to XP and it's better than 98 or 2k. across works better on win98 than winXP. That's the only minus in my needs

Got Vista about a month after it came out, a little over a year ago. Its better than people would have you believe.

I have XP Pro SP2 on stationary and Vista Home Premium on laptop. Probably won't ever upgrade to vista on stationary because of the vsync issue, otherwise I like it so far. Might upgrade to XP x64 though.
