no it doesn't

i didn't ask what you like best

i asked what fits elma best

you have to be braindead to try to adjust an elma movie to some generic r'n'b even if you are the biggest fan

I find calm music very relaxing and therefor you can focus on the ride 100 times more. However I also like to listen to some 80-s rock classics kinda : )

metal bulle? rap? you definitely have to be braindead if you think that this is a best fit for elma.

seriously, this is not a war, nor it is a horror kind of a paly genre. all kind of games have their own ways of sorting out soundtracks by their own genre. cs will never do with a pop, barby games will never do with a metal, racing games will never do with reggae, etc.. gaming vids like for elma, based on the timeattack, speed flow and adrenaline rush, will never suit with a crap bulle you sorted above. appropriate genre of gaming vid should have appropriate music in the background becouse 50% of the movie impression always goes to a music and the rest to the grapchical creativity of the video editing by author which kind of virtually sucks you in.

in my point of view elma, and other racing and time based games, should have drum'n'base, trance, house and other kind of club music with lots of beats and high tempo playing that background. syncronized to the action of course

If you are listening to music while playing then it is up to you, just choose something you like, but if making a video you cant possibly have rap, has no ryth m at all, and r'n'b and pop just doesnt work either.

The same music as normal, so that could be pink floyd, rammstein, kyuss, metallica, pantera, beach boys, the beatles, prodigy, some random hardhouse, awkward ellington jazz, my very own music, or if I'm in an aggressive mood anal cunt. I might try some clutch, buckethead, burzum, megadeth, frank zappa, foo fighters, rolling stones, children of bodom and laibach too.

Anything goes.

psytrance is the best for playing, fast and weird beats. also good when designing levs. sometimes speedmetal when in the mood.

rap or pop music is a no no, in elma and real life.

metal and rock i prefer to sit back and relax to.

powerpop ftw! the perfect hybrid of all the properties you guys have mentioned as important.

btw: is there any explenation to why the elma community consists of so many metalheads? (or could this just be because metal is big in finland?)

Well, people in Finland are very simple: they listen either trance, powerpop or metal.
