i won 1000kr on odds today. for tomorrow i played on a 1-0 romania win with mutu as the goalscorer. i've also played 50kr on both russia and croatia winning the whole thing.

there is an old joke quite appropriate for today, possibly you know it. the irony is that this joke was with exactly the same characters...

Holland was scheduled a game against Romania. Everybody was bored, nobody was in the mood for a match... Then Van der Saar said: "Guys, OK, you go to a bar, have a few drinks, have some fun and let me take care of the game". Van Basten said: "OK, good luck then!".
So they all went to some bar, asked for the beers... after 5 minutes goal Van der Saar, HOL - ROM 1-0. They all cheered, closed the tv, started drinking like hell.
After some time they open the TV: "Goal Mutu in the 90th minute!!! HOL - ROM 1-1 with a late dramatic equalizer!!!". They threw away the glasses went desperate to the stadium, and there Van der Saar was very upset, with the head resting in the hands, almost crying.
Van Basten: "Hey man, what happened??? How come they scored?????!!"
Van der Saar (totally upset): "I got a red card in the 6th minute..."

it's just that ...I think we waited for robben to take the ball and score 3 times into his own net.

today we were laughing saying that probably at break time van basten told the team: ok guys, let them score for 20 more minutes, if they don't succeed fuck them.
