I uploaded two recordings of me playing some pieces on my budget classical guitar. Microphone is built-in laptop shit, so be prepared for underwater sounds. Just to give you an idea of what I'm trying to play nowadays.

I recently started playing with a new singer. After a short time playing together we wrote and recorded this song.
Shameless selfpromotion but please check and like and share if you dare :P

I've composed quite a bit of classical shit, but nothing that I feel is audience worthy. Also a lot of it is for full orchestra and mixed choir, so I don't think it'll be recorded anytime in the near future... I'm actually writing a Requiem (based on that of Fauré).

We're making a symphony-type dealio in class though, which will be played by the Oslo Philharmonic in April/May or somewhere around there. I'll be sure to post it when it's done, and y'all can hear what I do in class :D

I don't have EOL yet, I just started playing this game again. Nostalgia explodes in my face every two seconds... I'll see about it this weekend when I have time.

(Inter's fine btw)

EDIT: I dunno how anal you guys are about stuff being on topic... Me coming from a RTW backround I'm used to everything derailing immediatly :D Sooo my sincere apologies for cluttering up this thread.

No need to worry, most of the topics go off-topic very fast. For example now we can start discussing off-topicness right here! That would also ruin A.K.B's experience, which would be good, because he's a total asswipe in everything else except music-related things.

Did a cover with my girlfriend. Distant Halo - Skin
My computer couldn't really handle all the tracks. I think we recorded 67 different vocal parts. Hard to work with such ambitious project when your computer keeps whining and the DAW keeps crashing from overload :(

*turns around in a recliner* oh hi, i didn't see you there. ;-)

here's something i finished a few months ago: Sademetsä - Planck's Wife Swallows The Quantum Foam
also partly made by me: Driftmoon - Summerstone (made teh original melody in 2002 which was then used in that track)

i'll try to think of other decent tracks that might be worth mentioning here.

I like it! Very good intro music for a surreal movie. -1 for all the Leo tags. +1 for funny bird at end.

while we're all still slightly shocked about that previous ville_j track, i'll give you some more ville_j-inspired stuff. he originally posted bring_it.mp3 on #across and i started messing with it, and as it progressed i asked for some additional tracks which he gladly (?) delivered, and here's finally the finished produkt:

Hey, that's pretty good! Singing sounds a bit nab now (sounded fine in ville_j's original). Otherwise I really really like it! Reminds me of Squarepusher, whom I like quite a bit. Also I hear some Dirty Loops influence, mebe. Nice job!

thanks! the singing surely experienced a little, uh, change in feel due to the grid quantization so it wouldn't be all over the place with other instrumentation, but i also like how it now has that kind of 90s amateur ug scene feel to it. the piano solo was mostly inspired by 90s piano house in general, but i guess Dirty Loops have had its effect here and there as well.
