Completed Skate2 a few days ago. Max ez / max short. The game still has gameplayvalue left tho, lots of spots to skate and just cruise around in. Other than that I just use my PS3 as a bluray-player, I'm not too interested in all the games that are released. Got teh 60GB, 4usb, backward compatible version btw

That's about it :p

I haven't watched any blurays yet with my ps3, though i've got ps3 for like 2 years  First i had 40Gb version, then i sold it and bought 80Gb later (2usb ports and without controller ports).

Have one psx game (International Track & Field) and GTA:IV, MGS4, COD2, FIFA09, NFS:Undercover, Mega Man 9 (!!), Guitar Heros and some Singstar shit.. + about 30 ps3 demos from PS Store..

Looking forwards to buy Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and maybe NHL10 for partygame

Got Uncharted 2 this thursday or if it was friday but haven't tried it yet because of a home exam. :(

Think I have 11 games in total plus Red Alert 1  My favourites are Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and *have to look at my games*. Forgot that I have some games which I haven't even tried yet; Battlefield: Bad Company, InFamous, Metal Gear Solid 4, Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon and Uncharted 2 as mentioned. Guess I have some quality gaming hours ahead of me then. Thanks for reminding me Raven

Mostly, though. I use my ps3 as a dvd/bluray-player. Always nice to download some trailers or demos as well.

Have you finished MGS4? Imo, best game ever.

Btw, i completed MGS4 for the second time. Started on monday. 17h gameplay there was. Fucking awesome game, really.

Skate and Skate2 is about realism while Tony Hawk-games are more arcade. Good luck doing a x28 trick sequence in Skate. The control in Skate is also very logical, there are certain buttons which do certain stuff with your player and your board, so you can almost guess how to press to do different tricks. The latest Tony Hawk I played was Tony Hawk's Project 8 but since then I have abandoned the series for Skate. Back then Tony Hawk-maps was like 200x200 meters max, in Skate and Skate2 you have an entire city to skate around in. You can put session markers on top of a set of stairs and then hoyl those stairs without having to run up the stairs over and over. The gameplay is also different when it comes to how you advance in career. Tony Hawk was always like "Collect SKATE", "Varial Kickflip <certain gap>". In Skate2 there's no such thing, it's bowl jams, street jams, downhill races, photo sessions, movie sessions. Well, my point is Skate and Skate2 kicks Tony Hawk were it hurts the most.

Yeah, i tried Skate demo and it felt more realistic.

Btw have you played SSX series on ps2? Asskicking games really and i see you like to do that kind of stuff irl. Too bad they quitted making (read from some ps3 place) those, and there aren't coming any contuniation for ps3. I've always liked playing snowboarding games from the times of PSX's Cool Boarders, so i bought Shaun White Snowboarding which was totally flop to me, played only for like 2h and then haven't even tried it..

But really i think you should borrow MGS4 again and finish it. Maybe Act 1 is little bit boring. But really worth of playing, at least for one finish.

edit: Boomer, how's the Uncharted II?

I still have MGS4 but I just haven't touched it for a month :)

Ye I've played SSX a few times but didn't really like it. Best snowboard game out there is definitely Amped, it's the one game that made me purchase Xbox. Amped for PS3 would be EZ buy. After browsing some youtube it seems they have turned the Amped franchise into arcade style gaming, sux :/ Really, the freedom of choosing your own routes, the ability to listen to own music and max graphics for being Xbox made it a great game. I remember riding to Sash - Equador and Bran Van 3000 - Drinking In L.A <3

Just came from 5h nonstop Skate2-hoyling btw. 2 total strangers and myself hoyled freeskate activities, it's like co-op. Was coal, we were about equally skilled and such.

Edit: It might actually have been 7 hours non-stop :O

Heh, Shaun White had own routes too, that was good. Bad thing was: Everything else sucked (though there were few nice songs).

I don't really like arcade games. But SSX was 8)

It's max! Had very high expectations on this game because of the prequel of course and I think 'Among Thieves' is much better. I finished the game a few hours ago and it was an astonishing adventure. Nevern been so satisfied when the credits started. Took me 12 hours to finish but there was so much action and everything that more gameplay hours would have been "to much"

Uncharted 1 and 2 are must-have games on ps3! Including you, John! =P Anyway, the first game shouldn't cost that much nowadays and if you have it already, Raven, then forget everything that matters in your life and buy the sequel! After I finished the game, I realised that I haven't even tried co-op or multiplayer yet. There are also alot of skins, trophys, artifacts, tweaks etc to unlock and collect.

The next game I will try is probably InFamous which I heard so much good about.

Skate2 completed 100% offline. I've killed all spots, gotten all covers, beaten all pros at throwdowns. Now to get the last couple of trophies I have to rely on people online :S too bad only half of those ppl realise freeskate activities are co-op and not a competition. It seems like there's always a tard on every server.

Nice too see you have Bayonetta as well Raven. Haven't played it myself so much yet though. Is MegaMan 10 a good buy btw? I have to play my games more before I compare trophy stats with you but I have completed Uncharted 2 100 % (excluding multiplayer-part).. o/

Currently, I'm playing Borderlands, splitscreen, with a friend. Awesome game!
