Are you tone deaf?

Post by zworqy »

Tone deafness test: http://jakemandell.com/tonedeaf/

I got 69% on my 2nd try. I think it's a pretty hard test, almost more of a memory test than pitch test.
<Fihlvein> another case of zworqy-is-always-right closed i guess

I agree, if you are not tone deaf, this is a memory test.

Got 80,6% (first and last try).

I heard at least one where the notes where exactly the same but the rhythm was different.. I don't see how that's anything to do with being tone-deaf or not. It's more a question about knowing rhythms or not.

edit:
Ah I just read the text. It makes sense now =)

Darn memory test. Perhaps if it weren't 11:22pm and I wasn't about to drop like a rock I'd have better luck, anyway, not an accurate tone deaf test, more a memory test, you can't trust anything nowadays....

66.7%, which is frankly quite bad haha. I kept finding differences way too much. Like different intervals at times, while they apparently were the same each time. :P

had same problem as teajay. Some of the tests weren't tone differences anyway.

38.9% Correct

Of the 61,036 scores recorded, I scored in the 0.1st Percentile

besides being tone deaf I am a horrible guesser as well, I could easily have scored 61.1% with this aberration

83.3%, 1.5 Hz at pitch test, 90% at amvi, 84% if I remember well, at the rhythm.
