yeah i know Poland isn't Scandinavia, in fact most people i know in australia at least consider Scandinavia to just be finland, and sweden, i believe that this whole finland, sweden, norway, poland, denmark area is scandinavian. anyways, posted in 'personal questions' thread before, but Poland = ez best country.

wonder why people learn french, it must be max hard, annoying and useless. Ye, maybe when you meet quebec people...

:?

even not! you can chat in english !
But if you speak French they like it very much :D

But yeah, French is max impsy... I laughed at people struggling to say "soleil" though, maybe they should try "inintelligibilité" or "institutionnaliser"!

it's fucking funny though, cause we are doing body aprts at the moment in class (and injuries) and they compulsively have to ask EVERY class the words for penis, vagina and breasts, even though the teacher never tells them, then they get pissed off when she yells at them for THAT.

BTW, my 3 week streak is broken :( i'm sick ;l

If you want to tell them, it's "pénis", "vagin" and "seins", I think you can figure out which is which. You can tell them about "sexe", too.

Nearly finished learning all of Moonlight Sonata!

First two movements done easy, should last for a good 8-9 minutes.

Third movement (about 7-8 minutes) mostly done, just brushing up on the scale passages and occasional tricky bits.

FUCK YEAH

this will be my 15 minute performance piece for music extention next year! Either that or Rachmaninoff's moreux de fantasie.

sounds exciting! Yesterday we had the funeral of my grandmother and I paid tribute by playing a solo piece on the guitar. Some stuff in E and with phrygian scale and than modulation like this Emaj7 Ebm7 Dmaj7 Dbm7 Cmaj7 Bm7 Bbmaj 7 Am7 F, then onwards to a very slow version of What a wonderful world, with tempo variations and some embellisments in the otherwise poor and bare arpeggio playing. My other grandmother was nonetheless impressed and asked me to do the same on her funeral (she's 88). By then I hope to be playing a real chord melody piece.

True pro of piano that is.

hmm can you play it full speed?

the guy in the video really isn't that good at it lol, he gets out of time a lot and also completely misses almost every dynamic in the whole movement lolz. although it is a very difficult piece, there aren't many people that can play it lolz.

he's too fast at the bits that go up through the scales (at like 12 notes per second or whatever)

Yes I do play it full speed, but there is 4 or 5 parts (about 10 bars/201) that I find extremely difficult to finger correctly, I'm going to study hard at those.

beat my old record on boom, made one year ago, by more than 120k, and reached level 70 for the first time. and i would have beaten it easily, had i not fucked up badly when only having one boss left. fak.

anyway old record was some 488k reaching level 50, new record is 611k reaching level 60, so im quite pleased.

and wasn't that good of a run either. i died for the first time at like level 16 or 17, so i guess i could reach 70 again with a few more tries.

Btw, the reason i've never reached level 70 before is because i play this game only a couple of times/year, so it's not like im hoyling it.

anyway i guess no one here even knows what boom is, so watehel.

yesterday i won an english poem pronounciation contest with only 6 failures XD

try iiiit:

ENGLISH

I take it you already know
Of tough and bough and cough and dough?
Others may stumble, but not you
On hiccough, thorough, slough, and through?
Well done! And now you wish, perhaps
To learn of these familiar traps?

Beware of heard, a dreadful word
That looks like beard and sounds like bird.
And dead; it's said like bed; not bead;
For goodness sake, don't call it deed!
Watch out for meat and great and threat,
(They rhyme with suite and straight and debt).
A moth is not a moth in mother,
Nor both in bother, broth in brother.

And here is not a match for there,
And clear and fear for bear and pear,
And then there's dose and rose and lose -
Just look them up - and goose and choose,
And cork and work and word and sword,
And do and go, then thwart and cart,
Come, come, I've hardly made a start.

A dreadful language? Why man alive,
I'd learned to talk it when I was five,
And yet to write it, the more I tried,
I hadn't learned it
