http://www.ghostery.com/

download it for free, on the site make easy 5 steps (i recommend to tick all add-ons). This gadget will stop your internet browser from showing damn advertisments, widgets, redundant buttons, etc. very good thingie.

how is this different to adblock? because adblock hides ads and if you subscribe to some other lists you can hide also the facebook widgets, etc. not to mention i have zero ads on youtube (also on embedded videos), with no inline text ads too.

because ghostery doesn't just block some widgets, it also blocks things like google analytics. it's more like a privacy-tool than an adblock-tool.

I think technically you pay for "up to 8Mbit". I pay for 24/1 and I get like 18/1

I don't have Telia but I pay for max speed which is 24Mbit down and I think 2Mbit up with ADSL. I get like 17/0.7. This is 7Mbit loss but it is still acceptable.
Your speed however would not be acceptable, not in my world.
There probably is a policy of how much percentage of speed you can lose on the way before it is not acceptable anymore of what you are paying.
But before you contact Telia you have to make sure your router is in the first telephone jack in your house, also you have to make the test while directly connected to your router, not through a switch, not through wireless. You can blackmail them a bit by saying that you will change ISP, and then they will probably lower your bill to have you stay as their customer =D

Btw, have you tried the speedtest on different times of the day, and different servers etc? You can try http://www.bredbandskollen.se/ if you don't orka dl tptest to try different servers)
Do you know how close you are to the closest Teliastation? To get the 24Mbit which you are paying for, you would need to live like max 100m from it.

Backgrounds are psychedelic, therefore Max Dirt Bike is a better game than Elma. (Simple logics.)
