Legendary lines from movies and tv-series

Post by Kale »

What lines from movies/tv-series do you remember?
Example: "Get to the choppa! - Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer (Arnold Schwarzenegger) - Predator".

You need not necessarily remember all names etc. if the line is so proverbial. And please try using smilies to depict the faces of the actors when they said what they said. Liek this: Get to the choppa! 8O

Oh, and youtube clips, if available, would be great too.

Ehm, rotating knives, yes.
Are you proposing to slaughter our tenants?
Does that not fit in with your plans?

This quote is actually MUCH MUCH better in the Quebec translation. Instead of being translated in International (or French (from France I mean)) French, that movie was translated in pure coarse Quebec French, with all the colorful swear words included. This line, in the Quebec version, is "Que c'est qu'y'a échangé contre c'tes freaks-là, un jack-strap plein d'marde?!" (BoneLESS and Mawane will understand :P). In English, it's like: "What the hell did he trade for those freaks, a jack-strap full of shit?"

Anyway, it's epic.

Watched Se7en last evening and it was beautiful:

William Somerset: I just don't think I can continue to live in a place that embraces and nurtures apathy as if it was virtue.
David Mills: You're no different. You're no better.
William Somerset: I didn't say I was different or better. I'm not. Hell, I sympathize; I sympathize completely. Apathy is the solution. I mean, it's easier to lose yourself in drugs than it is to cope with life. It's easier to steal what you want than it is to earn it. It's easier to beat a child than it is to raise it. Hell, love costs: it takes effort and work.

William Somerset: People don't want a hero, they want to eat cheeseburgers, play the lotto and watch television.

David Mills: Fuckin' Dante... poetry-writing faggot! Piece of shit, motherfucker!

[Salim Abu Aziz reveals a nuclear weapon]
Salim Abu Aziz: Do you know what this is?
Harry: I know what this is...
[Salim smiles]
Harry: This is an espresso machine.
[Salim frowns]
Harry: No, no wait. It's a snow cone maker.
[Salim approaches Harry]
Harry: Is it a water heater?
