mila, if you like this game, you might also be interested in zdaemon (online multiplayer doom). if you are in this fps thing, though.

i had immense fun playing ctf through doom2.wad a long way back. that sewers-and-other-nice-maps server is probably still running.
in short, if fps is your thing, or just fast reaction time and mouse placement abilities, though coupled with strategic placing and base hunting, doom with its fast-paced gameplay might be something to look for however for a brief moment just to see if that is your type of game. because the way i am seeing this, this might just be something you might be interested in.

Tried this stuff, might try to hoyl for an hour or so later, feels quite annoying though :s
how did you come to that conclusion? o,o The games have no resemblance in gameplay at all. But btw, i play zdaemon too, mostly coop/survival types rather than ctf/dm (the latter are hard to play with high ping, but i kick ass anyway because i'm awesome).
