Six or Eight slices in a pizza?

I've got an important question to ask everyone.
When you slice a pizza, do you slice it in six or eight pieces?

The pizza place I usually buy from always slices in 8, but when they don't slice I slice it myself in 6 pieces. I find that slicing kinda messes with the placement and aestethics of the toppings a bit so it's best to slice as little as possible. Also 6 usually fits my hunger very well in that way that I keep 2 slices (one third) for the next day, which fits well for a lunch, with 8 slices I will have to keep either a fourth or 3/8th which means I have too little or too much.

Nice topic. I slice them in 4 usually. Sometimes just in half and then when it is like a floppy pizza it is nice to eat. You have to put both hands under the slice and the oil will leak on your hands and you feel like a real sailor (pizzas are sailor's food anyway).

8 of course but if its thin i slice it as i eat it and fold in half 1 or 2 tims and create a sandwich-like thing which yields the mega nicest consistency ever i didnt like the idea first when lousku teached my it (in norway thin piza doesnt exist but it aparently does in finlan i had never seen and was very surprised) but when i tryed i very liked and now im want all pizas to be thin so can do that

Yeaaah, jon speaking truth. I don't slice thin pizza, just fold and eat. If thick pizza like grandis, 2 or 4 slices.

anyways, nowadays I buy 2 pieces of pizzas because one norm ( 30 cm ) cannot be enough

no but seriously there's 3 cases:
a) eat at a restaurant, then might need to slice up in two or four
b) bay some refignreaneingeartor pizza from grocery store, ovenize and usually it's hard enough to be eaten as a whole
c) selfmade is square shaped in which case the slicing is pretty random, maybe square one has different name than pizza but i dont give a fuck

This question is impossible to answer as it all depends on the size of the pizza. The larger the pizza, the more slices. But I never slice less than 4 pieces, and never more than 8.

damn, only in sverige did i ever really have teh 4 slice pizza, unless is some bulle 8" pizza.
most standard size pizza here come as 8, and sometimes 6 if you buy some italian pretend real pizza.
the 4 piece svenska style pizza Luther and I used to buy in munkebackstorget (wtf spelling) was fucking the most pro pizza ive ever ever ever had
even prolly some posts here earlier about me loving it.
i vote 8 cause what im used to, but 4 is pretty max.

BUT, why nat we can get the 5 or 7 or 9 slice pizza too, that would be max cutting skills

i don't do it by a system really.
i slice the pizza in 4 slices and slice one of the 4 into half and eat both eighth. then maybe take a third from another of the quarter-piece...or the whole quarter piece also sometimes. rolled together as the crust-corners are touching.
sometimes i just cut a very small slice from the quarter just to have a little bit more.
when i think i had enough i stop and eat a 2nd or a third time from the pizza.

must say pizza is definitly one of my top5 foods ever since i was able to eat.

Voted 8. I like very many pieces of pizza and 8 is quite ok number. I slice it in 8 even if it's a lil pizza.

Depends on my mood. I have been known to eat my pizzas whole, halved, in quarters, sixths or eighths. But most commonly in eighths (voted), which I find to be best.
Halves and quarters I find slightly harder to eat because of the 90 and 180 degree angles. They don't fit into my mouth as easy.
When I can't find a knife I either eat whole or tear the pizza apart into random sized pieces. And sometimes, on rare occasions, I scrunch my pizza up in a ball and eat it like that.

I don't slice my pizza, I eat with fork and knife because I don't like to get messy all over my hands when I watch TV or sit at the computer at the same time.
My keyboard and mouse is pretty clean. Clean enough to be healthy for use I should say.

i slice my pizza with fork and knife to a different number of slices depending on my mood (6-12). then i eat the slices with fork because i'm usually browsing the net and don't wanna get messy on my hands. you mad bro?
