Photography - Our photos

Post by zworqy »

Photography is one of my few hobbies. Today I have re-launched my gallery: http://zworqy.com/gallery/index.php?list=1

My camera is a Canon EOS 500D.

Do you you like photography? Post your albums/photos in this topic.

<Pawq> at a gym you have only 3 options: 1. have your eyes closed, 2. stare at yourself, 3. stare at others, all of which are either super boring or disgusting

Cool ash picture yea0. I used to shoot lots on vacation, but now I mainly shoot municipality signs and I shoot them with a normal camera so most pictures are kinda lame in quality, but still good in other ways. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set= ... 000&type=3

I've been wanting a camera for a long time. Best I have atm is 0.3mp on my phone.
I imagine if I did have a proper camera I'd be using it all the time, but more artistically.

cool topik.
bought an eos600D just a few months ago. by now i stole the tele lens from my father and his tamron 17-55 1:2.8 (nat really stolen ..rather borrowed for long time)
i bought it with kit lens (which is also quite nice) and bought later the 50mm 1.8

i made some videos which shamelessly i promote here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=si1cNA_lgOI&feature=plcp (HD)

still i ponder a bit about settings to choose but i am learning. sometimes switching to auto just to see how the camera logic would have done it but otherwise i always go for manual settings.
if checking pics from more advanced photomans i see that they take pics from nat moving objects, turn up ISO to 400 or such but then do shutter time to 1/640 (for example). dont really understand why short shutting but higher ISO if object is nat moving......
also reading book from andreas feininger from time to time.

maybe some books read from youz?

anyways great hobby is.

Was the first time I got "hired" by a befriended family.
That is one of my favorite shots from the series.
It was to picture their gardenparty....where they also were selling shits and stones.

quite nice^
maybe would have taken a different time of the day though, so that the heaven wouldn't burn out like that.

i was lazy recently. don't really feel motivation to go out and do pictures.
these are from a few weeks ago. it is a church in graz. plus i just noticed that i am too retarded to set proper tags on flickr.

Many nice ones sleap! Liked especially the macro ones.

I registered to flickr yesterday, seems like a great site to find inspiration and learn a thing or two (for example checking EXIF on nice pics)

Threw away my old Elma computer today and since felt a bit sentimental about teh I took some documentative photos, nat planning to post it here, nat really thinking about composition either. However, my gf is hoyling Dont Starve on my ps4 so I got nothing to do, therefore I edited the photos in Aviary.

Nice pics John, seems you have an eye for artful composition :)

I started photoing quite a bit more this summer myself. Here's my flickr, pretty obvious what my main photography interest is :)
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

Thanks SveinR, I liked your macros too! :) Might buy equipment and explore macro photography in the future. Seeing stuff bigger and more detailed is pretty fascinating.

Tack umiz! Not really done any portraits since most people I know prefer not to be in front of a camera :) I might try some portraits on my future vacations though!
