GAA03 - Rookie (1. category)

Post by Abula »

Who's the best rookie to Elma scene during last ~15 months?

This poll was reset. Read below for reasons.

Toringe is great all-around. IRK would have been my 2nd choice. His name pops-up often on me at new WR-tables.

Tor will definetely win this poll, no question about it. The other ones are great players too anyway.

a bit ridiculous ok?

Post by Cloud »

OMFG, congratulations, this is the most fucked up GAA poll. :)

Players who have played 2-4 years are being nominated as n00bs? Really smart indeed.

Zweq: "Did almost the Markku. He rose to the multi WRs page with Juzam, to world total times place 13. and to the WR table from total unknownness. That is very rare nowadays and many people think him as a fake identity. He told us that he has played four years and never send anything to the lists. Who knows but great results anyway."

A really smart choice there by you, Abula. Zweq is a total n00b.

Then FatherGod: A quote from TTT's team page. "TTT was formed by me (Laser) and FatherGod sometime during late 2000 or early 2001."

So FGod has played more than 2 years, too. Nice one, ciph.

TorInge: Played over 2 years. Ye, I know that since he is a teammate.

IRK: From IC's old team page. "Jaroslav Kouba - IRK
Prague, Czech republic
born 11.9.1985
played elma since 2000"

So he has played elma for 2-3 years, also some Across before he began his Elma career, as far as I know. An ok choice, Mick.

I can just wonder why DMD, for example isn't into this poll. He has played less than any of those four. The jury members should have really searched the facts before choosing the nominees. Don't get mad of this ok? Only my opinion.

Anyway, I will vote for Juish. He has played a bit over a year (Since january 2002 If I remember correctly). He got a TT of 42,2x. Been also proving his great battle skill many times.

Seems like Niktata isn't a bad choice either, I don't know how long he has played but not long I think. You almost got my vote.

I really haven't seen many nice times by Vikto than Flat Track. Not impressive enough ok.

Then John, omg, maybe he is the next swedish superstar? Wouldn't be easy to choose between you and Niktata.

And yes, It's Cloud angry today, watch out for the lightning bolts.

Me And Juish are almost the only rookies in that list (Not sure about others, but Zweq and TorInge are not rookies). I really started to play internals in may 2002, so not so long time ago.

Rookie in Elma SCENE, not in Elma playing.

Ye really smart, how can you know how good someone is when he enters to the scene? Or how long he has already played before he entered.

"Who's the best rookie to Elma scene during last ~15 months?"

See, You can't know who is the best. How long someone has played is the most important criteria when choosing the best n00b.

It's really stupid if it's in the way you said, shouldn't it be who is the best rookie and has achieved most in a decided period of time? At least that is how did I get it and I bet many others (all?) as well. It should be like a forecast who will be a supestar in the future according to his/her skills when he/she was a n00b.

And btw. How do you define a word "scene"?

Well....not to brag or nothing, or actually I've played exactly 15 months. I started in the beginning of October 2001, and my tt is 43.43.41.
So at least there's a couple of us who are worth voting for....
Not that it helps though, since Tor already has pretty much won the poll...=(

hæhæ vand youre so nice!

i think this poll should be reset i really interpreted the category as it was meant for people who started playing within the last 15months. and as ive only been playin ½ a year i didnt know that so many of the candidates had played like 2 years and stuff. so at least i would like to replace my vote from tor to juish, and probably others also would like that too. if its done new candidates could be discussed here.

Abula why don´t you just confess your misstake insteed of coming up with something that stupid??...Restart this poll and let the best n00b in Elma lpyaing be the winner....That´s who should be awarded not the rookie in the Elma scene...

i honestly think SoC is the best.....he has tt of 45 and has been playing for only 5 months......people who are voting should not only consider their totals, but their role in the community and how well they are for how little they have been playing for.....not much people know who soc is, maybe coz he only goes in #across every once and while and can hardly speak english

nah, i don't need votes coz
a) i don't want to win
b) i'm hungarian, hence i'll get a ton of votes from hungarians
c) i think most of GAA is just nonsense (this particular category isn't, however)

i voted Juish myself hey he really deserves winning this category
