Kuski of February 2004

Post by SveinR »

Suggest questions and candidates.

axxu: He's fairly new to the scene, but is doing very well and improving his TT quickly (he made 44 TT in half a year). He is very good on several external contests. He came in a very good 4th place in the total standings of King Cup, and had a 2nd place as his best result on a single event. He also has seven ALP WRs, and has come 2nd on three consecutive KOM polls. Edit: Is also leading King Contest.

john: Is always rapidly improving his TT, and recently got into the 38 mins club, which has only 4 other members; Zweq, DarMoeD, Cloud and TorInge. Being alongside that company says it all, I think. Has had one WR.

Tantal: Together with his friend TorInge he has pretty much ruled the multi WR table for a long time, alongside Zweq & Juzam. Now he has also showed his presence on the single's WR table, taking the record on Over and Under (DarMoeD had had the WR for over a year).

MJXII: Recently beat Jalli's record in MOPOCO08.lev, Impossibility, which is a pipe lev! He also finished MOPOCO15, Impsybility Hard Version, in December (he has been kind enough to share the replay). Furthermore, MJXII also got into the quarter finals of the now paused(?) championship Elma Matchplay.

The OooO: This mystery player is very good on all contests, be it King Cup, World Cup or anything else he takes a part in. Is he Cloud? Is he someone else? Is he himself?

Did I forget something important about one of the candidates? Tell me in this thread or by PM.

In jan/feb my contribution has been to beat my impossibility record by 0,01. like.. wow. But.. still.. now that it suits me, let me for once agree that these polls are never about things people did in the last month, exactly :D

Well actually, i think tantal deserves this cuz he's been working on O&U for ages and now he finally got his WR :D soo much more impressive than anything i've done.

haha. I'm not TorInge's brother, ok. We would've had more multiwrs if I was. Do I have to be his brother just because we play multiplayer together or something. Try to remember next time SveinR. You already made the same mistake twice now :D .

It's really cool to be nominated though, I never thought I would be.
Thanx to all people who voted for me or are going to.

I'm voting for MJXII as two months ago. Because he's really cool, and he has done some nice work with the impossiblity lev.

some thoughts from my point of view, naturally i dont know everything since i cant follow scene 24/7

axxu, all i know is that he did well in kingcup, thats not bad.

John, well, as far as i know he only plays internals and lowers his tt little by little.. kind of a player whose evenly good but not quite unique, maybe his breaktrough is yet to come?

Tantal, actually i didnt hear anything about him for ages besides the o&u wr he took few weeks ago by 0,01 so i guess he's been busy hoyling that, hehe.

MJXII, he did extremely good, beautiful and smooth ride on one of the impsibility pipe levels. thats all i've heard him do though.

The OooO, im not quite sure wheter this guy was one of those successors among the ones from MAN who did very well in King Cup but this guys driven some extremely beautiful rides at my contest leading the most records list. one of those externalist which whom we dont know hardly anything and who has no sign of internal activity.

so all in all, theres not really a player who clearly deserves the vote, i'll personally give my vote to The OooO.

sure but an ez way to review a player is also looking at replays driven by the person. and by that parameter The OoO wins in my book for sure, he has made the nicest replays i've seen out of these guys. But of course I haven't seen i.e. Johns best internal replays (for obvious reasons). So an internal player is often judged on just numbers whereas an external player (if he plays cups) is more easily judged by his rides/replays...

Anyways this is one of the harder polls in my opinion, not any SUPERstars in it but they are all very skilled. I voted The OoO.

internal recs are mainly just copies of other recs
"elma is based to internals " ..I disagree completely

about jsim and external replays... cups may be the only place where replays are commonly spread. otherwise most of the contest recs aren't found anywhere but they can still be damn nice

who to vote, dunno yet
