Elma Online site: Default Theme

Post by Kopaka »

I've recieved two themes so far for the site plus my own, haven't heard of anyone else making any so will make a poll now to select which should be default. I will make it possible to change to any of the others when logged in.

Kopaka

Zworqy

Jappe2

tijsjoris

nIN

nIN 2

Edit: Thought you could vote here since could in this one, sveinr move to polls? :*

I think Zworqy's theme is the best because of its nice pictures, but I don't like those fists, they somehow don't suit there. Maybe two bikes better or...? Others are good. The background of "Battle in xoxo12 by Kopaka" is maybe a bit too dark. If these things are fixed, it'll be perfect!

I'll go with Kopaka's theme.

Is it possible to vote now?
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

I think zworqy's colours are the best. I like the idea of icons above the buttons, but zworqy's feel a bit too much mashed up and random. I wasted an hour on making a few of my own:

Personally, I like the upper one more, it's more clean, but I spent more time on the lower one. Either way, this is just my suggestion for this, it could still be a lot better indeed. As you can see, not all text is properly on height, I hurried a bit..

Feel free to edit, adjust or discard. :P

i like: up - down - down - down - down - up
but the helmet shouldn't have eye and mouth
ofc cleaner pix would be nicer

but I still prefer zworqy's one :P

My theme was supposed to be with the webding icons, but well, I hope you guys don't choose for one main theme anyway, but compose of all the themes a universal one!

OK, you know what would be best?

zworqy or nins colours, the minimalistic icons of mine combined with the button labels of nin. I don't like the apples nin, sorry, but the labels are best, and also the banner is great.

I agree on the apples. Maybe it could be coal to make the apples closed when mouse isn't over them, and opened when you hover on them. It could be easily done with some simple java. I hate my own theme :P but tbh I don't think that the themes to choose from are very good. I will try to make another one by tomorrow (If I may) with smaller fonts for the menu (because I like it).

The size of the menu is perfect. Don't bother changing that. I think we need proper icons.
