Double Trouble - Right or Left?

Post by zworqy »

Should you go to the right or left in the beginning of Double Trouble? Which is the fastest way in YOUR opinion?

NOTE: this is not an attempt to get some new styles for the level, when you have taken left or right in the start, there's pretty much only one way each to go anyway.

You start facing left, so i go left first, then when you come out of that tunnel, youre facing right, so i go down there next, and finally ou tof that tunnel you face left again, so I go over and under the thingy, then im facing the flower from there.
No unneccesary turning my way. :D

fastest start? i guess the fast thing is the speed u get after u come from the downer area, which u only get by starting to the right

ya right is faster but when going left at start u avoid the "down-loop-to-left-tunnel" drop and u just have to aim for the flower. that's why i go left at start.

Poll isn't needed in this thread I think. Just talk about it.

Maybe the fastest would be going directly to up without taking any speed? ;]

On a somewhat related note:

Steep Corner, that first thing you hang in. One or two tires inside?

i think it's two, cuz the swinging at the end on going left takes time, as going with two there is no swinging at all. that's how i've experienced it

I also found that playing with on wheel some times results in the wheel that was hanging hitting the killer. Whereas playing with both means the bike just goes straight through the middle of the gap.

I actually tried that, of course it was slower, but faster than I thought... under 1:50 should be possible...!

MagnusB: Two, I tend to bang my head when going down the corner right after the gap if I use one.
