i need state.dat and a stats.txt

hello


when i installed the game i launched it and it said "Couldnt write to state.dat"

and i though what the heck?

uhm
so
i deleted the both files (state.dat & stats.txt)

and now i request that someone gives me a state.dat and stats.txt
just at lvl 1 or sumthing dont care
just an state.dat & stats.txt
that works

Just open up elma and fill in nick, it'll create a state automatically.

i tried
but it created the files
and then i completed lvl 1 and it still says Couldnt write to State.dat

Try to check if it's read only.

What Kopaka probably tries to say is that make sure you have write permissions for the directory where elma is installed. That really should be the problem, I can't think of anything else.

In Windows you can check it by navigating in your elma directory with explorer.exe and right click your elma directory, then choose properties and there should be read-only checkbox among other checkboxes.

In linux you could just open console window with root priviledges and type 'chown -R elmadirectory yourusename' and that makes you the owner of the elma directory.
