Moposite Playing Levels WR table

Post by zebra »

There's now a WR table for moposite playing levels at my site.

See the WR table here: http://koti.mbnet.fi/zebra/playing.html

There's also an irc channel up: #playinglevels
I'll idle there and you are welcome to idle there too if you want.

updated.
14 ppl sent their recs :)

As you can see from the page, 4 wrs are now missing a rec.
I sent mail to those whose rec is missing.
If zweq doesn't read his e-mails, i have to write it here:
Zweq, you had 2 recs missing: PLCL03 (10.18 ) and PLTU02 (4.01).
Send them to me or I have to remove them from the next table.

I'm going to update the pack soon. This means that i'm going to make some more levels to include missing tricks to the pack. This is because some tricks were forgotten from the original release and some tricks have appeared since that.

Some tricks/levels I'm probably going to make (maybe not all of them):
Start launcher
Stretch hang
Vertical pipe (pipe climb)
Ground bounce
Katten bounce (kash*.lev)
Alo brutal (z0196)
Front wheel bounce (z019x)
hill hang
zweq spinning

So, do you have any new/old trick/playing style which is missing from the moposite playing level pack? If yes, could you post level and rec where you or someone else makes that trick.

Thanks, zebra.

Ground bounce is when you bounce on flat ground. Like the bottom of gravity ride. And you do the "brutal" so you slide on the ground and you press other direction to make a bounce. Not brutal but bounce.
This is at least what I call groundbounce.

An example:

GroundBrutal

GroundBounce

I made some levels once, where you had to do ground bounce to jump over the gap. Don't know where they are.

ah! thx, didn't know that it's called ground bounce
but i don't think there is a level that is just possible with ground bounce, all levels should be possible with a normal brutal too!

i dont know if the suckslide trick is in the playing levels yet. this trick was used in the oldest curvaceous route in the last 3 seconds and a faster trick in new wave at around 23 seconds, which i showed on lauta before i think.

i dont know what's that, the enduro end?

the trick im talking about is what tor does before the pole in upside down. You just slide on vertex with brake on as if you were going for bounce but then run out of vertex and you're "lower" than with normal riding, so it sucks you down when sliding, suckslide!

Ok, that suckslide is pretty close to wheel compression. The only difference might be that you need to brake in suckslide but not in wheel compression. Do you agree?

Isn't it just that a wheel compression is part of a suckslide, but you also do something else, the same way that a bounce starts with wheel compressions and then you brake and jump, ect...
