New 2D vector physics game with hoyla potential

Post by Sprocket »

This game has a hoyla feel quite a lot like Elma.

24 Levels - some of them are HARD. :-)

Here's my times for you guys to beat:

Level 1 - 4:52
Level 2 - 5:55
Level 3 - 3:27
Level 4 - 3:34
Level 5 - 2:39
Level 6 - 4:95
Level 7 - 4:77
Level 8 - 3:64
Level 9 - 3:24
Level 10 - 6:60
Level 11 - 4:99
Level 12 - 19:95
Level 13 - 15:12
Level 14 - 5:84
Level 15 - 18:55
Level 16 - 4:00
Level 17 - 7:74
Level 18 - 17:84
Level 19 - 20:09
Level 20 - 23:59
Level 21 - 17:57
Level 22 - 15:72

I haven't completed the last 2 levels yet. I am told that once you do you get the option to upload your totaltime to a global highscore list.

It's possible to cheat in the game, by messing around with your system. For example running it on a very slow comp or running the swf client in full screen will run the game in slowmo making it much much easier. Of course this is ruining the fun.

The hoyla times are set using the link above without any messing around.

Total Time: 04:03:45 (Currently #79 on highscore of the week)

Global total time highscore list is here:
http://www.bubblebox.com/highscores/902.htm

Since I started to compete for the global total times I went ahead and tweaked my system a little for optimal play. Key delay set to minimum and key repeat at maximum (this is very close to Win XP defaults though). Also playing the client at full screen which makes it run slower (easier to do styles then). Most of the times on the list are done using tweaking.

I suspect that on the top of the highscore list use some kind of hax0r to make keyrepeat even faster. Either that or they have found some sick kuski styles.
