I have probably seen like one or two episodes from each CSI series, and I must say they don't interest me at all. I really dislike crime investigation series, as they all feel extremely repetitive, and they all begin, proceed and end the same. I'd like to see some crime investiogation show that didn't follow this exact formula the current ones do. I tried watching Fringe, which felt quite uniqe after watching the first episode. However, after maybe four or five episodes, it, too, had fallen into this exact rythm. Hence it became boring, and I stopped watching.

If you know any "outside-the-box crime series", please tell me.

igge: watch fbi files :P good criminal document series, real fbi cases and how they solved them
Ok, I will try it out. Movies/series/games etc based on reality are usually more interesting.

Not sure really. I've only seen random episodes of random CSI series. How does NCSI differ from the other shows?

If Fringe is not outside-the-box I don't know what is :D I was skeptical at first, but trusted in JJ and very end of season 1 and season 2 it gets good.

As for the poll I voted they sucks, but to be honest I have never watched any of them, I don't expect to like them :)

I want to like it, but after a couple of epiodes it felt repetitive. answer me truthfully now, do you think I should download the entire season 1 and (re-)watch it?

I personnaly:
- have never really liked CSI series
- love Fringe
- think Criminal Minds is awesome enough for a "more classical crime serie"

NCIS is a much better series, as it actually has a plotline.

CSI the original was the best, but nowadays all 3 suck. the guy who plays Horatio is a terrible actor.
