Lovely Cup's site

Lovely Cup started on Sunday, January 24th, at 03:15 GMT.

Formula

It will not be what was initially announced, reactions were mostly negative. Here's an explanation of what it will be: each level (except the last one) will last for two events, though for each event, there will be a new level. That means it will go like this:

The cup will consist of 8 events of one week each. On the first week, the first lev will be played exactly like a normal cup. At the end of the first week, we will announce the winner, share the times and the recs, give points, like a normal cup. On the second week, though, while the second lev will start as normal, the first lev will still be on! Yes, with recs revealed. You will then have the possibility to höyl the best style and beat the leader. At the end of the second week, both points for the first and the second lev will be given. On the third week, it will be the second and the third lev, etc.

The last level of the cup will last only one week, but more points will be given (see Points section).

Points

The second week of each lev counts for twice as much as the first. They will be given like this:

For the last event, it will be worth 150 points too, but on only one week, which means points given for it on that week will be equal to the sum of the two weeks (or three times the 1st week, if you prefer): 150, 135, 123, etc.

Rules

No cheating, of course. I mean, it is obvious. You cheat = you're disqualified.

Your time from the first week of a level is still valid on the second week. It would still be better to improve it though, since it counts for double the points!

Please name your recs LVC0#xxx where xxx are the first three letters of your nick. Note that if your nick consists of three letters, you can put the last three letters too.

A: Because we prefer you to send your recs, go sleep, and wake up to a new event and the results of the last!

This makes me pretty mad, you said that it was discussed and finished in Team Lovely. And now, Why? Why? Haven't I got ANY fucking information about this? Wtf. Feels like I am not a member of team [<3] Lovely anymore.

Reasons you would've told me:

* I can make levels, some atleast.

* I can help arrange the cup.

* I am member of the team.

I really want an answer for this NOW.

Ok, this is not a topic about that so I hope it's the only post related to that I'll have to make. teajay sent me a PM last week saying this: "OKay, I kicked thorze from the team. I'm sorry I had so much doubt." When he told me that I thought it was because it was already done and he had already told you, it seems not... anyway, we're sorry, but you just won't fit in the mood of the team, it's like day and night, we can't have you in the team anymore. Do not reply here, and I hope you'll understand, the reasons have been stated 800 times in the new teams and members topic a month ago.

Again, don't reply here, let's keep the thread clean.

One thing I can say more is that I don't care if you say that I can't reply here because you're all just faggots hiding things and a lot then you fucking kick me for no reason. Tell me the reason and let TJ tell it in his PM to and I believe otherwise not because if I am kicked I will make über cool team and pwn you all.

Has Haruhi sent you the PM? Remember to name your levels LVCT##n where n is the version of the lev, and when you share the lev and then change it, please change the letter so no file replacement and if the other version is better, it's simple, etc. etc.

VJ. The reason we haven't released a date yet is because we are trying to plan it to not interfere with your cup (Different times, save for maybe a few events.)

It won't be fail, we have rethought the idea, and new information comes out soon.

Would be more interesting if the first week's points would be significantly lower. Then people wouldn't use their kickass styles until the last week and it wouldn't be just boring höyling and combining of styles from others' recs.

But then again, the problem it may cause is "discrediting" the first week, making people send nab recs and the competition being low and boring. But we'll discuss and tell you more about that before it starts.

there were enough normal cups, it's time to experiment a bit. banana cup was one of the coolest cup from the last years imo, because it was so different.

(This may change) On the second week of a level, even if you already sent a rec for the first week and don't wish to improve your time, please send it again. If you don't, your time will not be counted in the second round of points. Note that you are permitted to send the same rec on the two weeks.

What could actually change is that we may make it possible that on the beginning of the second week, your rec from the first is the "default" and you can improve so you don't have to send in again.

Thanks to Kopaka, it will be that way. That means that if you are satisfied with your time and are busy, you don't have to send in again on the second week of one level. It will help people who forget to send their replay again by not getting them out of the results while they still made a time on a lev.

In summary, your time from the first week of a level is still valid on the second week. You can of course send in a better one though!

The lev is nice, though not as good as I expected. It surely has many different styles. I have two exact same times with two different routes xD
