Prince of Persia - 6/10
Weak 6. It was a decent adventure flick and it was coal to see they had used some elements from the games. Duno, just a decent popcorn movie. Gemma was hot.

Re-watched The Prestige tonight. Was better than I remembered, even though I watched it in the theatre the first time (bluray now). I increased my vote from a 7 to a strong 8. Acting is great, story is coal. Despite the 2h 05m length it's never boring.

Btw, movie related side note, yesterday I learnt (at least had a first glimpse) how to operate the new 3D projector at work. It's gonna be awesome to finally start projecting 3D movies in small town Luleå too o/ Avatar is coming back in 3D. Alice too. Then Prince of Persia is going 35mm -> digital 2D now that we learnt the projector. And finally How to Train Your Dragon will run as 3D matinée on weekends I think. Avatar is taking a solid 250 Gb on the HDD :O That's 1.5 Gb/min ;o

lol now you actually crossed any border of my heaviest assumption of your total idiocy i just cannot entirely comprehend where these pathetic habits come from. So how many movies you have watched today? 6? So maybe 8 tomorrow? Maybe hoyl rewatching to the max until you have watched any movie at least 2 times. nice idea?

Jerry Maguire: 9/10

I really like it. I watched it a long time ago and I remember only so much as I liked it. It went on Swedish television just now and I decided to make a night out of it. It's one of my favourites. Tom Cruise is brilliant (I always liked Tom Cruise), Renée Zellweger just as good and of course, the charming Cuba Gooding Jr. (from another brilliant movie: Men of honour). There's so many funny and also many deep emotional moments. It's just a perfect mix for almost any occasion.

See it!

Well, how you can put 9.5 is beyond me. Two reasons:
- IMDb doesnt allow such ratings.
- Movie was boring.

Luckily smaken är som baken otherwise every movie would be like this.

tbh I find it hard to believe a movie where Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp and Jude Law plays the same person can be boring :D Especially for a movie lover like yourself!

But I have to watch it before I put your ass on the chair :P

Crazy Heart - 8/10

Edit:
Baraka - 9/10
A realistic Planet Earth. Not everything here is pretty. Prostitution, burning bodies at Ganges river, cruelty to animals, deforestation, poverty, misery. It shows the diversity of mankind but also our flaws. Not to forget the beauty of our planet. What Igge said about The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus fits here "I simply can't give it a 10 because I know there are a couple of movies I like more.". Still highly recommended. Looks great in HD as it was filmed in 70mm.

Bride of Re-Animator (1990) : 6.5 / 10
The movie is far from being as good as the first one but is still a quite entertaining flick. While the first one was more of a great horror b-movie, this one is more of a "so bad it's good" film. Therefore, i had my share of laughters and i enjoyed myself. To sum it up, don't expect anything great from this movie, just leave your brain on the side and enjoy one sweet b-movie.

Up in the Air - 9/10
Feels like I'm actually picking pretty decent movies lately. Up in the Air felt very fresh and clean. Cast were walking around in suits, they were playing sharp characters, a big part of the movie took place in some of America's most modern airports and all the new destinations were introduced with a big text (nice clean font) in the middle of the screen. Felt like some sort of Sex and the City but unisex :D Hard to describe but I was entertained throughout. It was superbly acted, story was interesting, the drama was there, the (mostly subtle) humour was there. Zach Galifianakis in his cameo for 20 seconds offered the funniest gag. Too bad I didn't catch this one on the big screen although I somewhat made up for it by watching it in HD now. Highly recommended.

Felt like watching some Extras stretching over almost 2 hrs. Not that interesting really. Should be a die hard MJ-fan to really appreciate this.

It had its moments but mostly it was just another by-the-book teen movie.

Breaking Bad. although season three so far for me (up to episode 9) has been a bit slow. season 1/2 were great.

Dexter. season 1 is good, season 2/3 not very good, and season 4 was awesome (with the help of John Lithgow). looking foward to season 5.

watch many movies lately. some good, some not so good.

kick ass was disappointing.
