Why would you ever use an alovolt inside a pipe?
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

So maybe that's why I suck in curvy pipes...

I don't recall ever doing such a thing.

Or maybe once or twice in 50 apples high-speed vertical pipes when you simply lose all control on the bike.

alopaj: Not sure, but like at what angle is a pipe considered 2 pipes? Like the first one here would be considered a 'bump' or so, but then the 90* one, is it 2 pipes or still one? And the last one, which is way above 90*, that one must be considered 2 pipes, or what?

alopaj2: In this pipe I can easily use 2 alos instead of 2 normal volts. I don't know if it saves time, but it's neither hard nor uncomfortable.

Considered the question again and came to this conclusion:

Beside in the case mentionned above by myself, i never use the alovolt in pipe driving but i do use them in pipe levels.

For example, i do use alovolt in pipes where the pipe breaks at a 70+ degrees angle. I also use alovolts to enter or leave a few pipes, seems mandatory to master pipe levels. But in the actual piping (driving a relatively straight pipe), there is no way i will ever use the alovolt.

That's it, just wanted to clear my thoughts.

I use alo all the time in straight pipes.

This is why I am better than john + jalli put together.

the only reason for one using an alo in pipes is just to make a jp pipe turn
otherwise there's no use of it

I used it in many MiEPC levels. You can gain speed in right kind of corners. Its just a lot harder than usual safe piping styles so is not used in balles or anything.

i use it at corners pretty often (well, maybe not as often as in normal levs but still), for the same reason as in normal levs, to get more exact and appropriate push =)

Yes, regularly. I use alo in almost every >60 degrees clockwise corner (bike moving clockwise while passing it). I find it both easier to pass such corners and smoother in looks :)
